November 01, 2023, 03:43:43 pm Ruhi_Rose: Yes .. making lots of dua everyday ..... watching those real life video clips, my face feels wet with tears all the time.  May ALLAH grant the best to these wonderful, brave & steadfast martyrs,  Ameen ya Allah.
November 01, 2023, 03:38:26 pm Zainab_M: Keep praying, praying a lot for Gaza. It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

June 28, 2023, 09:48:39 am Zainab_M: Walaikum As Salaam.  This was the first Hajj open to all after the pandemic. It was attended by 2.6 million Muslims.

Sis Heb .. you got the words out of my mouth.  I felt as though I was talkin except that I couldn't have articulated it as deftly.   Cheesy

Very truthful and upfront points Sister Heba, and it was heartening for me going through it.  Frankly I've thought on these lines many times.  Living here as a single Sister myself, I keep colliding with similar problems every now and then.  Even though I know you have a big & beautiful family, your understanding of others in different situations is remarkably and intelligently accurate dear Sister.  May Allah Almighty reward you and bless you for that.  Such selfless thoughts are rare in today's world.

Ameen, ameen.  And may Allah Almighty always bless you too sis.  Your courage and firmness as a believer is amazing and unmatched.

Salaam and many thanks Sister Ruhi.  Also jazekAllah khair for the additional feedback.  It was immensely thoughtful of your husband and family to help that brother at such a crucial time which saved him from the path of disaster.  Such assistance is normally the duty of our spiritual leaders.  But they have long made it clear that they're only interested in recognition, admiration and receiving VIP treatment from their sycophants (whom you rightly referred to as 'chamchas').  InshAllah, Allah will reward all of you, every bit.  Ameen.  That's what I mean by cooperation within one's inner circles, creating a climate of cohesiveness among Muslims.  It needs to be heightened when we're living abroad as it becomes still more important to maintain close contacts to help one another through the ups & downs and trials & tribulations of life in a foreign land.  Obviously a Muslim feels more comfortable turning to another Muslim rather than someone of a different faith, neither of whom will be able to connect with the other.  Unfortunately, such an ideology is fraying faster than I would ever want to imagine Sad    We know how greatly the Glorious Quran emphasizes on a cohesive bond between believers.  The biggest problem is that the Muslims today read the Quran as a formality or a protocol, not as a Code of Life nor do they recognize it as the Sole Criterion.  Our jurists and imams seldom follow their own lectures which they deliver with much enthusiasm before large audiences.  Such self-centerism was one of the reasons of the tragic end of Abdullah Yusuf Ali.  I'm glad you quoted his example.  I read about it last year in a dissertation and the shock of it gave me a mighty jolt!  I wondered how I never knew about it earlier.  I too don't refer to his translations, but as a Muslim community worker his global services were extensive .. as was Pickthall's.  It's ironic that after his agonizing death, the Muslim community has upheld Yusuf Ali's translation as the principle official one, yet they remain conspicuously silent about his dismal and heart-rending end at a time when none of them came to his side and simply let him die on the streets.  I guess it's the guilty conscience that pricks them.  Sounds too awful to be true, yet it's true Sad
