It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

salamem every one

PS ! due to my sickness  (having throat infection and fever )  i didn't joine this discussion & info section and the mosque is ,in another town where the, imam of mosque  permits Muslims to drink water while fasting if they find thirst unbearable ,one of  our sister , messaged me the topics and issues that's give me plenty of shocks ,though these both fatwa's were issued last year in 2013 but are under discussion this year ,am totally surprised , what's wrong with this ummah ? where the hell these corrupt leaders ,so called imams ,the iblisi jurists are taking the ummah ? shayateen are ruling over these imams and their cheela's body ,brain and heart… Majority of people amongst moroccan community are strongly against that imam who permits Muslims to drink water while fasting if they find thirst unbearable  , and muntazimeen / directorate of mosque are trying to kick him out but unfortunately there are some people those who are working for shitan , are appears to agree also and trying to misguide others  Sad that if u  feel extreme of thirst than u can drinks little bit water and Allah will forgive u  Angry  Shocked , this nonsense rob my sleep and have made many of muslims restless, people themselves are trying to spreading awareness regarding this iblisi fatwa and informing each another to NOT to follow this shaitan imam ..

Q : my question is what about  European countries like Finland and Norway, ? the sun sets for barely three hours. That means Muslims have to fast for more than 20 hours  after which they only have a few hours to eat, drink and prepare for another long stretch of fasting. don’t they fast ?? what would be the next fatwa eat vegetables and avoid meat , fast like christians ??

Drinking is  permissible during Ramadan fasting. ? this is a new battle between sunni’s and shia’s ( though Pakistani shia have already reject this fatwa )

Zanjani Ayat Allah, an Iranian cleric close to reformists, issued a “fatwa” that permits Muslims to drink water while fasting if they find thirst unbearable, reported France 24.

“Those who cannot bear thirst can drink just as much as they need to quench their thirst. And this does not invalidate their fast,” the cleric was quoted by France 24 Arabic as saying.

The fatwa, which instantly went viral on social media, sparked a debate among other Iranian clerics and prompted some of them to respond to it.

Opposing the fatwa, Nacer Shiraazi, an Iranian cleric, said: ” fasting and drinking water do not go hand in hand. Any Muslim who drinks water by day during Ramadan undoubtedly breaks their fast.”

“Those who can’t bear thirst, due to an illness can drink water. But they have to make it up once they recover,” Shiraazi added.

Yet, according to Zanjani, the option to drink water is due to the summer heat and the long hours Muslims have to fast in some parts of the world.

Muslims must avoid putting their lives at risk, ” Zanjani added.

Drinking Water While Fasting: Reactions to a Controversial Fatwa
Is Ayatollah Zanjani’s Edict a Model to Breakthrough Religious Deadlocks?

Behrooz Samadbeygi
b.samadbeygi(at)roozonline.com

A fatwa that allows Shiite fasters to drink water during their day-long fast that was issued by senior ayatollah Bayat Zanjani a few days ago has caught the attention of Iran’s media and is stirring controversy. The ayatollah Zanjani’s official website has acknowledged that after the fatwa a number of clerics had gone to the senior cleric’s house and raised their issues with him. In cyberspace too there has been much reaction because while the fatwa is not political in nature it does contradict the views of ayatollah Khomeini and ayatollah Khamenei.

A Fresh Look at Religion

On July 12, 2013 ayatollah Bayat’s website published a report that was rapidly reproduced in cyberspace. The story said that according to verified documents and detailed narratives connected to Imam Sadegh (one of the twelve revered Shiite imams, rightful successors of prophet Mohammad in Shia) those who fast but cannot tolerate the pressure of thirst may drink just enough water to stop the thirst which would not invalidate their fast and they do not have to refast. The author also wrote that this was not the original view of the cleric in his guide but that it was a new religious edict.

Among the first responders was Etemad newspaper which quoted seyed Reza Borghei Modarres from the Qom Theological Seminary and ayatollah Khomeini’s former representative in the Persian Gulf states. He concurred with the weight of the fatwa and said many similar viewpoints had been made in Shiite figh (jurisprudence) in the past and added that “we cannot be very strict” about enforcing Shiite rules or insist that only the rules be the standard.” He concluded that a learned mujtahid could announce his fatwa based on prevalent conditions. In short, he said the fatwa was legitimate and could be followed. He also called Bayat’s fatwa a “bold” act and added that Islam was not a frozen or rigid religion.”

Mohammad Ayub Kazemi is another cleric who welcomed the fatwa and echoed Bayat’s arguments and logic. He also praised Bayat and even went further by saying Bayat maybe the cleric who can break through the religious bottlenecks that currently exist and mentioned some areas where they exist to be music, relations between men and women, the hijab, relations between people and authorities, economic issues, etc.

Parsineh website also published a story supporting the fatwa and quoted a number of other ayatollahs who had said drinking was permissible during Ramadan fasting.

But the majority of the official media in Iran remained silent on this indicating that there are those who do not approve of it. Mehr news agency also wrote about the “controversial fatwa over drinking water during fasting” and wrote that senior clerics had said that such an act would invalidate the fast, as they referenced the views of ayatollah Khamenei, ayatollah Makarem Shirazi and ayatollah Sistani to support this.

Science is Good, but not Modernity

Mehdi Khalaji, an Islamic scholar wrote on his Facebook page that issuing a fatwa like that “would not reconcile Islam with the human and society’s modern condition.” He added that this was done merely to please the young and become “modern.” He concluded that to be a mujtahid (a senior cleric who is acknowledged to issue religious edicts) requires that the person be knowledgeable, not that his fatwas be modern.

An Authoritative Cleric with a Blocked Website

In Shiite Islam, a marjae taghlid (senior cleric who can be the source of emulation for others) must have many credentials, including the publication of a religious book. And even though marjae taghlid have had a prominent political and religious position in contemporary history, it has never been clear as to how they attain that title and authority. This is why it is not clear who in fact is a marjae taghlid in Iran.

Some specialists on religious issues have argued that in recent years with the dominance of the supreme leader of the Islamic republic, theological centers have come under the influence of political considerations and some clerics have been boycotted while others supported.

After the 2009 presidential election, ayatollah Zanjani took positions of support for Mir-Hossein Mousavi and condemned officials for their confrontation of the protestors. His website has been blocked since 2010. These days, he is not recognized as a marjaetaghlid in Iran’s official media, even though he had been elected to parliament and has served in the Majlis.

Iran cleric: Muslims can quench
thirst in Ramadan

A decree by a senior Iranian cleric that Muslims can quench "extreme thirst" during the Ramadan fasting month has stirred debate in the Islamic republic's clergy, media reports said Thursday.

"Those who cannot bear extreme thirst can drink just enough water to quench it. This would not break their fast," said the fatwa by Grand Ayatollah Assadollah Bayat Zanjani, who is seen as close to reformers.

But his fatwa quickly came under fire from Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi.

He ruled out "fasting and drinking at the same time", and reiterated that any break in the fast must be compensated for by fasting on some other day in the year.

Media reports also referred to decrees by supreme leader Ali Khamenei and Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani according to whom "a state of weakness or thirst does not merit a break in the fast".

But Zanjani, who is based in the holy city of Qom, said Islam allows some breaks in fasting.

He said this would depend on "certain climatic and geographical conditions", given that in countries such as Iran Ramadan fasting can last up to 16 hours in summer.

Those who "fall sick when fasting or if the fasting deteriorates an existing illness", or "workers who work hard for a long day" can drink if it means their survival, Zanjani said on his website.

People in such cases also do not have to compensate by fasting on some other day, he added.

"Imam Sadegh [the sixth Shiite imam] himself said that people can drink if it is to save their lives," Zanjani argued.

During Ramadan, Muslims refrain from eating, drinking, smoking and having sex between sunrise and sunset.

The Moroccan preacher, Ahmed Dini Choukairi member of the PJD, a Muslim Conservative party that has won several ministerial portfolios in the Moroccan government, issued a fatwa allowing sex between a married couple during the fasting day of Ramadan.
This religious aphrodisiac Fatwa has raised social network buzzes. Social networks users reminded the preacher to have a sense of priorities.
Morocco leaded by PJD Islamic party is struggling with a severe economic and social crisis like most Arab countries and also facing an endemic corruption.

Morocco: PJD Member “Authorizes” Sexual Relations During Ramadan Daytime

Rabat- A Member of Justice and Development Party (PJD) issued a new Fatwa legalizing sexual relations during Ramadan daylight hours.

Abdelbari Zamzami is no longer the only Cheikh specializing in the “excitement” fatwas, but rather part of a new group of “jurists” who are leading figures in the political parties, participating in the governmental coalition in charge of the issuing of “sexual fatwas.”

The latest politician to enroll was Ahmed Choukairi Dini, a member of the National Council for Justice and Development Party. Choukairi issued a new fatwa permitting engaging in sexual relations during Ramadan daytime.

According to Akhbar Alyaoum, Ahmed Choukairi Dini permitted “having sexual intercourse for the traveling couples.”

Choukairi quoted some hadiths, reports of the deeds and sayings of the prophet Mohamed, in which he argues “Sheikh Ibn Outhaďmin allowed the traveler to sleep with his wife, with or without preliminaries  during a day of fasting.”

According to the same source, the odd fatwa says “while fasting in Ramadan, a husband is recommended to caress and kiss his wife in order to get her ready for sexual intercourse after iftar (break the fast) later at night.”

According to Akhbar Alyaoum, this fatwa stirred controversy, in particular because a PJD government coalition leader issued it. “Many people expressed astonishment that Mr. Ahmed Choukairi, the PJD member and the former member of the executive committee was busy thinking of having intercourse in a legitimate way, rather than chasing corruption,” Akhbar Al Yaoum reported.

MOROCCO – NEW FATWA ALLOWS SEXUAL RELATIONSHIP DURING RAMADAN DAYLIGHT HOURS

Sexual Fatwas”

Ahmed Choukairi Dini, a member of the National Council for Justice and Development Party, recently issued a new fatwa permitting engaging in sexual relations during Ramadan daytime.  He thus joined a group of leading  politicians in issuing “sexualfatwas”, a domain once occupied solely by Abdelbari Zamazmi, a member of the Justice and Development Party who popularized the issuance of “excitement” fatwas. But not everyone is pleased with this new fatwa, with critics slamming Ahmaed Choukairi Dini of “busy thinking of having intercourse in a legitimate way, rather than chasing corruption”.

The Fatwa

According to Akhbar Alyaoum, the new fatwa by Ahmed Choukairi Dini essentially allowed “having sexual intercourse for the traveling couples”. Ahmed Choukairi Dini quoted some hadiths to support his fatwa, saying: “Sheikh Ibn Outhaďmin allowed the traveler to sleep with his wife, with or without preliminaries  during a day of fasting”.

Reportedly, this fatwa by Ahmed Choukairi Dini went on to say that “while fasting in Ramadan, a husband is recommended to caress and kiss his wife in order to get her ready for sexual intercourse after iftar (break the fast) later at night”.

Reaction

Akhbar Alyaoum described this fatwa as controversial, the reason being that it was issued by Ahmed Choukairi Dini, a Justice and Development Party government coalition leader.  The report said that “many people expressed astonishment that Mr. Ahmed Choukairi, the Justice and Development member and the former member of the executive committee was busy thinking of having intercourse in a legitimate way, rather than chasing corruption”.

Think About It

Should politicians be issuing fatwas, let alone “sexual fatwas”?  In a wider context, should politics and religion mix? Or should they be kept separate from each other?

 Shocked

Shia Imam Says it is permitted to have sex in fasting through anus. And fast remain valid

A rough translation of this urdu text in pic : Ahmad bin Muhammad narrated from some Koffan and it is a Marfo narration that Imam Jaffar Sadiq (Rah) said, If a man satisfied his lust by coupling her woman through anus, although the woman is fasting. Then the woman’s fast remain valid and bath is not obliged to her.

Walaikum Salaam Sister Muslima.   Very sorry to learn you're unwell.  Sore throats in summer heal faster and wish you a very speedy recovery, InshAllah.

Needless to say, these fatwas are grossly WRONG.  Both the fatwas are downright nauseating.  These issues have been confirmed as Haram in the Quran and there's no question of humans deciding otherwise.

No matter where one lives, there can be no such permission as drinking water if one is fasting as the Noble Quran has already said NO to it.  Similarly, traveling or not traveling, sex between spouses while fasting is completely PROHIBITED in the Quran.  Period. No further arguments.

If someone finds thirst so unbearable that they feel they must drink water, then it amounts to invalidation of the fast, regardless of the stress of thirst.  If some persons find it so difficult to fast, then they should not fast and ask forgiveness of Allah for their inability to follow His order. It might be that Allah may forgive them, if HE Wills.  Of course, not fasting in the month of Ramadan (if one is healthy) is definitely disobedience to Allah's commandment.  But fasting and purposely breaking it and yet claiming it's valid is even worse.  It amounts to inventing a lie against Allah Almighty and changing His Rules exactly as the Christians did aforetime.  I don't think Allah would forgive such a sin.

When the Noble Quran has explicitly said NO to a certain act, that chapter is closed which puts an end to all debates.  Even if a thousand clerics give their fatwas to the contrary, those fatwas mean nothing.  Whichever imam you learned is permitting people to drink water in Ramadan is definitely a rogue and a quack, and apparently an outlier. I doubt if most mainstream imams, whether Sunni or Shiia, would agree with him.

Moreover, be very careful of what you hear concerning the Shiias.  Lots of false rumors in this respect keep floating against them from hardline Salafist quarters.  I have no doubts about that as I've observed it happening time and again for years. That bit about anal sex first surfaced in Saudi Arabia against Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.  It went far enough claiming that he okayed humans to have sex with animals.  Of course that was totally false.  He never said such stuff, that is confirmed.  He never even conceived of this sort of abhorrent ideas as he was a decent and respectable man, not a depraved maniac.  The entire Shiia community was flabbergasted over such vile and ugly slandering and quite rightly so.  Several Saudi and Pakistani salafist groups have spread a lot of similar false news immersed in obnoxious vulgarity only to defame the other side and deepen the divide between Shiias and Sunnis as a sectarian strategy.  Therefore, I wouldn't trust that info in Urdu.  The Hadith is already a manipulated institution.  To make matters worse, Sunnis and Shiias are fabricating more bad hadiths to defame each other.  As my observation tells me, the hardline Sunnis carry out this mischief still more often.  I repeat we really need to be careful.  The Ummah has long turned into a sectarian world infested with hostilities and fitna builders.  This is not just a religious issue any longer, it's a political one too with foreign powers taking advantage of the situation.  Many negative things we hear involving Muslims slandering Muslims have no factual links.  Needless to mention, as Muslims we need to absolutely unite, whether Shiia or Sunni, makes no difference.  We're Muslims.

Wa'Salam Sis.  May Allah Almighty grant you healing soon.  Ameen, ameen.

Actually these controversial fatwas based on false and forged ahadith are not followed even by the mainstream any longer.  If any imam in a masjid is practicing such hadiths or fatwas then obviously there is a serious problem with that community.  So far I've never attended any masjid where these kinds of things are being allowed.  Even though as I said previously, I am thoroughly disappointed with the selfish attitude of our Muslims here, yet I haven't found them practicing such blatant violations against the Quran.   At least not until now.  Only Allah knows about the future.

This one about drinking water comes  through one of the fabricated Shiia hadiths of  Imam Sadek claiming that if you're very thirsty, you can drink just as much or the minimal of water to quench your thirst.  Horrible thing to say.  Imam Sadek could never have said this in the presence of the Noble Quran.  Furthermore this Zanjani fatwa is not new.  It surfaced a year ago during last Ramadan in one or two of small websites goaded by Iranian modernists.  Not in main Iranian news sites like Press TV, Tehran Times, Fars News Agency etc.  Furthermore, year before last in 2012, Iraqi Shiia cleric, Sistani said, "It is compulsory to fast, but if your thirst reached a limit where you fear you might harm yourself or collapse and in a difficult situation then drink only what is necessary and hold your fast for the rest of the day, but also make up for this fast after Ramadhan."  That last sentence "but also make up for this fast after Ramadan" obviously means that the act of drinking the water has already invalidated that person's fast .... Sistani is admitting that discreetly.  Otherwise if the fast remains valid then what is the purpose of making up for it later on?  So in other words, he is actually neutralizing that false hadith of Imam Sadek by giving it a sober spin.  Instead of outright rejecting it, he is putting it this way so that traditionalists don't get offended.

We have quite a few Shiia friends in our circle.  So far we haven't heard or seen anyone following this fatwa and drinking water while fasting.  Totally absurd.

Furthermore, Sunnis also have a similar Hadith which I have already posted on the Hadith board long ago, in which they accuse the Prophet (pbuh) of drinking barley water before Maghrib.  I re-quote that Hadith as below:

Narrated Ibn Abi Aufa:
We were in the company of Allah's Apostle on a journey. He said to a man, "Get down and mix Sawiq (powdered barley) with water for me." The man said, "The sun (has not set yet), O Allah's Apostle." The Prophet again said to him, "Get down and mix Sawiq with water for me." The man again said, "O Allah's Apostle! The sun!" The Prophet said to him (for the third time) "Get down and mix Sawiq with water for me." The man dismounted and mixed Sawiq with water for him. The Prophet drank it and then beckoned with his hand (towards the East) and said, "When you see the night falling from this side, then a fasting person should break his fast." (Sahih Bukhari 3:31:162).

Needless to say, the stuff above is also completely false and forged, and Sunnis know it therefore they too have never practiced such a thing even though if you tell them it's false, they will fight with you.

Concerning that story on allowing anal sex, I don't think it's authentic either.  Like Sister Zeynab mentioned, this type of lewd and dirty stories have been going around for a long time.  Mostly it comes from Salafist centers.  I'm a Muslim and a Quran-alone follower. Thus, I'm no fan of either the Shiias nor Sunnis.  But I've also noticed that Shiia clerics do not very much indulge in this type of defamation campaigns against the Sunni community, at least not as much as the other way round.

In 2011,  some little known Sunni imam in Morocco gave the filthiest and most horrifying fatwa ever!  He permitted husbands and wives to have sex with their deceased spouses until six hours after death.  Obnoxious and disgusting!  This amounts to necrophilia which is a sickening crime.   I don't know why the Moroccan police didn't arrest this pervert.  According to Quranic values, the body of a deceased person must be treated with respect.  It must be buried at the earliest as Allah has described in the incident of Prophet Adam's two sons, one of whom killed the other and a raven came to bury the dead brother.  The concept of funeral prayer is also mentioned in the Quran as a gesture of respect for the dead.  But instead, there are some criminal imams who say such horrible things.  Yet no Sunni imam condemned that fatwa giving permission to commit necrophilia.  If a Shiia imam had said this, they would have made big stories out of it.  However, even no Shiia imam condemned it despite this news being published in all Egyptian media outlets; it came in UK's Daily Mail, America's Huffington Post and several more news sites.

To make a long story short, these nasty fatwas are not taken seriously even by most Hadithists among both Shiias and Sunnis.  They know that most of their imams are Jahanamis, assholes and bull shitters, only they don't want to say it.

salam again dear sisters  Smiley

Dear sister zeynab and sis Heba , May Allah reward both of U for ur kindness , health wishes and the dua u said for me Smiley Allah bless u

jazak Allah khair  sis zeynab for Ur  neutral & responsible response on this sensitive issue am very thankful to u

Sis heba Thanks a million for this very satisfying reply, especially for the reference of this bukhari hadith , i apology for putting up that shia hadith pic , No sis second fatwa news is not confirmed to me either, nor  its confirm from any shia imam or friend of mine  , U both are  Right i agree with both of u at this point ,, i put it here as i received it, if here anyone knows about it , i don't want to accuse shia imam , as i said i didnt went there , neither i was aware of these fatwa ,unless that moroccan imam permitted drinking of water during fasting , so i didn't understand that ,all sudden ,what happened to all of moroccans and why these guys are rushing to message each another , now i understand what's their mission, this is clear start to flame sectarian hate , how pathetic that mischief maker has not quoted anything from his own bukhari collection rather listed the bunch  fatwa's from website, Angry

here also i  agree with u , ( quoting u ) In 2011,  some little known Sunni imam in Morocco gave the filthiest and most horrifying fatwa ever!  He permitted husbands and wives to have sex with their deceased spouses until six hours after death. so yes i won’t be surprise any more if i ever  will know that any Moroccan imam has allowed or would allows ” Sexual Relations During Ramadan Fast  Angry. I don't trust them ,except very few those who  are well known to me ,because mostly they are full of arrogance , they don't allow anyone to question them ,they consider themselves as they are final authorised , their imams  degrade sometimes many muslim from other nationalities  ( from different home lands ) & i personally don't like this… i never visit that masjid just heard about that imam it was first arranged visit , but now i won’t visit them for sure who made mosque for causing harm and division among the believers ,  also  Allah has disallowed prophet (pbuh) to even stand in such mosque in surah Taubah 9:108 ,Never stand thou forth herein.i am sure such people will be amongst the people of Araaf , such hypocrites will be kept in limbo and inshallah will be thrown into hell fire ,

And as for those who chose a place of worship out of opposition and disbelief, and in order to cause dissent among the believers, and as an outpost for those who warred against Allah and His messenger aforetime, they will surely swear: We purposed naught save good. Allah beareth witness that they verily are liars.9:107

Never stand (to pray) there. A place of worship which was found upon duty (to Allah) from the first day is more worthy that thou shouldst stand (to pray) therein, wherein are men who love to purify themselves. Allah loveth the purifiers.9:108

Is he who founded his building upon duty to Allah and His good pleasure better; or he who founded his building on the brink of a crumbling, overhanging precipice so that it toppled with him into the fire of hell? Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk.9:109

The building which they built will never cease to be a misgiving in their hearts unless their hearts be torn to pieces. Allah is Knower, Wise.9:110

Quoting from sis zeynab ! as Muslims we need to absolutely unite, whether Shia or Sunni, makes no difference. We're Muslims

Quoting from sis Heba ! I'm a Muslim and a Quran-alone follower. Thus, I'm no fan of either the Shias or Sunnis

very truthful and well appreciated message for fool ummah  Thumbsup Thumbsup Thumbsup

Lo! Allah hath bought from the believers their lives and their wealth because the Garden will be theirs: they shall fight in the way of Allah and shall slay and be slain. It is a promise which is binding on Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. Who fulfilleth His covenant better than Allah? Rejoice then in your bargain that ye have made, for that is the supreme triumph.9:111

Salam again dear sis Muslima.  Hope your throat is feeling better, InshAllah.

Nice reading the additional info you posted.

The existence of bad ahadith and repulsive fatwas are offensive enough.  If the demonic imams start implementing them, that would be unbearable!  In that case the community (that is, the people) should get together and take severe action against them. They should stop visiting the masjids run by such rogue imams, stop donating, post their criticisms on blogs and newsletters via email etc.  But the stupid people will never do that. That's the biggest problem.  These people don't just follow their imams but they literally worship them.  Their love for their imams is much greater than their love for the Glorious Quran.  No matter what terrible things an imam might claim, there's never any one who will have the guts to say "enough is enough" and put down their foot.  It's this subservient attitude of the people and their unconditional support that's made the imams, sheikhs and so-called ulemas so arrogant.  Arrogance is a common factor among all of these buggers.  Not just the Morrocan imams, as I see it, they are all arrogant.  Humility is an unknown commodity.  Until now I've not seen any imam who discusses Islam with the people as a friend or cohort or teammate.  According to them, they must think themselves superior only because they have a $8,000 diploma (that mainly teaches them bid'ah) from some so-called "Islamic" university hanging on their office wall.  This culture too comes from altered Christianity where priests and bishops are considered infallible even today within the orthodox Christian circles.  That's why the crimes of so many Christian priests who are guilty of raping young children (girls and boys) are disclosed years later when the children become adults and realize the injustice.  As kids they feel scared to complain against a cleric because the society considers all clerics to be super-humans.

Yes sister,  we have a nice and concise piece on this topic.  It's an important one and most people don't know about it.

Assalam Alaykum and thanks sisters.  It was a pleasure reading this thread.  I cannot imagine how any imam could say such things after Allah has clearly spelled out His commandment on these aspects of human life.  These folks are no different from the munafiqeen of Medinah.  They want to earn sawab not by obeying Allah but by disobeying Him and then they try to portray it as obedience.  It's what in urdu one would refer to as "chori per seena zori."

Let all such munafiqeen know that Allah Almighty is Watcher over all things.  No one can deceive Him.  I hope these imams and their loyal disciples receive dire punishment in the Hereafter, ameen.
