I really won't be surprised if in the coming years they declare zina to be Halal for "Muslims living in the West" and some slimy fatwa giving permission to Muslim youths in the West to visit bars and get pissed on weekends.  I put nothing past these creepy buggers, honestly.

Well, the buggers are already trying to justify lewdness through the hadith on wudu, that wudu water washes away the sins of zina.

This is precisely what we do.  Since the last 3 years we've stopped going for Taravi in the masjid because we found it was serving no purpose and only adding to our fatigue and taking up much more of our time.  Now, after Isha we sit down  for nafls, and then read at least 4 rukus of the Quran with explanation.  It feels much more fruitful and enlightening, saves much of our time within the familiar n comfortable surroundings of home at our den beside the living room.  Alhumdulilah. 

How sweet    Exactly the same at our end, sis.  Wonderful practice.  May Allah grant us acceptance, ameen.  Doing our ibadat at home has helped to increase our knowledge of deen a lot, lot more than that drama of listening to the imams disrespectfully racing through the every juz of the Noble Quran.  It looks and feels so rude.  They forget that it's the Noble Quran and the hi-speed tarawi is not the way to read it.
