November 01, 2023, 03:43:43 pm Ruhi_Rose: Yes .. making lots of dua everyday ..... watching those real life video clips, my face feels wet with tears all the time.  May ALLAH grant the best to these wonderful, brave & steadfast martyrs,  Ameen ya Allah.
November 01, 2023, 03:38:26 pm Zainab_M: Keep praying, praying a lot for Gaza. It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

Walaikum Salam Sister Muslima.   You're welcomed to share your thoughts.  That does indeed provide comfort to the heart and mind.

I'm not sure if I understand your point correctly.  Let me express what I presume and then please correct me if I'm wrong.

I suppose you're disturbed that people (probably so-called Muslims who consider themselves too "modern") are rejecting Allah by drawing face-value conclusions from the widespread sufferings in this world and blaming Allah for doing "nothing."  I think we have already talked about the attitudes of such short-sighted folks with limited minds in many of our discussions at MV.  There is no dearth of such mindsets and they're getting commoner.  To put it  briefly, they are misguided with a weak Faith with no concept of the Hereafter.  Otherwise many such queries wouldn't arise in their minds.  They are not taking into consideration that this world is a transitory spot for tests and sufferings (that have various grades) and how we handle them.  Even those who are living in happiness and comfort aren't enjoying a permanent situation rather they're being tried on how they utilize their privileges in a fleeting life.

This planet isn't an earthly heaven, rather Heaven lies in another world for those who pass His judgement.  And no one can predict nor accurately define the basis of His judgment which is subjective according to the cases of each community and each individual in this world throughout all eras of history until the present and going to the future until the Last Day.  While Allah never burdens a soul more than it can bear, humans do burden other weaker humans with a lot more than they can take.  Hence, a single slip or blunder by a single individual in authority or a powerful community can result in a chain of misfortunes that could gradually affect millions of innocents with far-reaching consequences wreaking havoc in different parts of the world.   That's the law according to which this earthly world works and which results in a sequence of events.  That's the way it's been ordained by Allah.  And for this reason Allah keeps reminding us in His Final Message to be very careful about our Faith and conduct in order to avoid a regrettable mistake and the vicious cycle it may give rise to.

So we can imagine how many people and occurrences are in wait for Allah's judgement.  Some will be judged here and compensated.  But majority in the next world.  Thus, Allah highlights the aspect of perseverance or taqwa or patience.  "Inn Allah hey mais sabireen."  If, for whatever reasons, the Ummah has come to a point where its faith has crumbled to the extent that it cannot grasp such facts, then there's nothing you can do to revive them.  Allah Almighty tells the Prophet (pbuh) in the Quran  "Lo! thou (O Muhammad) guidest not whom thou lovest, but Allah guideth whom He will. And He is Best Aware of those who walk aright."  (28:56).  If the Prophet (pbuh) was not given the ability to guide those of his companions who were unworthy of Allah's guidance, how can we awaken those deviants of the Ummah who today indulge in the kind of irrational impatience and impertinence we see?  Lamenting over their misguidance is only a waste of our own time.

A strong faith is totally unflinching.  While those with a weak faith may blame Allah Almighty for the suffering of Muslims in Gaza and Burma, those Muslims themselves facing the ordeals in Gaza and Burma only become stronger and more committed to serving Allah  through their suffering.  Can you name any Muslim in Palestine or Burma who has caved in by abandoning their faith and embracing the ideology of the enemies to appease them?  Not even a single one of them.

That bit about Shaitan being chained in Ramadan is from Hadith, sister.  So we don't need to discuss it.  We have long rejected Hadith with a kick.

Regarding creeps like Sheikh (aka priest) Usama Hasan, obviously he will not be happy with people who prefer the laws of Allah and refuse to follow his fatwas.  All sheikhs have that attitude similar to all kuffar, polytheists, atheists and arrogant secularists of this world.  That is nothing new and neither surprising.  The sad thing would be to fall prey to their temptations and start following them by turning away from the Quran.  That would indeed be the ultimate loss for which we would have to answer to Allah.  But as long as we don't become a party to their misguidance, we have nothing to worry.

There is a very good piece we have here at MV put up by Sister Zeynab on April of 2013  titled "Life comes only once."  I think you've already read it and also contributed your good comments.  If you refer to it again, it might help to remember some additional points concerning this topic.  That post is a very thorough scrutiny of the perfunctory thoughts and shallow knowledge of faithless folks and why they keep getting baffled.
