November 01, 2023, 03:38:26 pm Zainab_M: Keep praying, praying a lot for Gaza. It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

SubhanAllah, MaashAllah ...... Allah azza wa jal.   Beautifully written piece.  Love it. You perceived it spot on brother.  The essence of Taqwa alludes to forbearance and patience.  Sincere Faith cannot enter the hearts of the impatient.  Their pride, wishful thoughts and unrealism throws them on to a path that isn't in conformity with the Laws of Allah.  Though they might not openly admit it, the material benefits of this world is of far greater importance to them than the Decision of Allah in the Hereafter.  It triggers restlessness and agitation within them when faced with very hard times or material loss.  Such a mindset isn't merely preoccupation or a spirit of competitiveness.  It sprouts from a very fragile Faith or a false faith or no Faith at all.  With such a rickety root, patience becomes a far cry without which the success of a believer is out of the question.

Verse 22:11 of Surah Al-Hajj is so articulate and beautiful as the others both of you quoted.  And I also often keep reading Verses 109-111 of Surah Al-Muminun which mentions the reward of the patient with a strong will-power who were never swayed by the mockery of the guilty.

This lovely Verse fills me with solace.

"Indeed! there was a party of My slaves who said: Our Rab! We believe, therefor forgive us and have mercy on us for You are Best of all who show mercy; But you chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while you laughed at them. Indeed! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast in that they, even they, are the triumphant."  23:109-111.

May Allah (The One and Only, The Greatest) strengthen our Faith with an abundance of Taqwa.  Ameen ya merey Allah jan.

Alhumdulilah, yes.  The discussions resumed after quite a long gap.  I also needed to reorganize our group after moving to the new place.  A few participants are the same but several news ones too.

So, so glad to know the meetings have resumed Smiley  Hope there aren't too many Hadithists among the new ones with pent-up future tantrums  Cheesy

Yes, we've all settled down though still missing the place we left.  However, whatever Allah plans is for the best.  Even though this is an expensive place, business has picked up great.  All thanks to Allah!   and yes, our living arrangement is the same, extended house divided into suites for family and extended family. It took a bit long to get it ready.  Fortunately we got a nice spacious house and we further renovated it to suit our requirements.  Again thanks to Allah.  Everything set and settled  Cheesy

Shukr Alhumdulilah!   Excellent news.   InshAllah, Allah will reward all of you for steadfastly maintaining a cohesive spirit.  Ameen.  United we rise, divided we fall.  Most families in our Muslim world are nowadays so full of squabblings and jealousies.  Let alone cousins and extended families, even siblings often have fallouts once they become independent.  You and your folks set a tremendous example to our society.
