Gravitational force or pull (Al-Malaika or Al-Fatir)

This remarkable Verse refers to the gravitational force between the heavenly bodies in the solar system and the entire universe. 

Gravitational force keeps things in their proper places and prevents them from floating away.   Gravitational force is a property of every body in the universe including the earth with a pull from beneath.  The size or strength of the gravitational force is determined by the weight of the body, which is again determined by the quantum of mass within that body.  For example, gravitational force in the moon is less than the earth because the moon is smaller than the earth.  Similarly there is gravitational force between all objects in the universe in proportion to their size and mass.  It's all designed and decided by Allah.  This is the reference in Verse 35:41.

An amazing scientific fact about which none in the 7th century had a clue anywhere in the world.  Many commoners even today wouldn't know that all planets and the sun in our solar system stay meticulously on their respective paths because of a balanced gravitational pull between the different heavenly bodies as ordained by Allah with the utmost of perfection.  Just imagine, if the gravitational force got disturbed and the various heavenly bodies in the solar system and the universe floated outside their paths and banged with each other!  It would spell the end of everything.  But Allah Almighty has appointed a fixed term for their end and until that time everything will stay on its course through the force of gravity.
