As-Salam Alaikum.  My heartfelt congratulations to those who were fortunate enough to perform Hajj this year.  I was told that Hajj was on October 2.  In North America Eid-al-Adha is being observed on October 4, Saturday.  May Allah Almighty accept the efforts of His slaves who undertook this long journey for His sake.  Ameen.

Salams and Hajj Mubarak from me too, to all those who traveled to Makkah and Medinah on this memorable journey.  May Allah, The Almighty, grant you acceptance and plenty of rewards.  Ameen ya Rab-al-alameen.  May Allah also accept the effort of those who didn't perform Hajj but are giving charity or sacrifice at their places of residence .. as long as they keep it a simple charitable occasion sending money or food to the needy and not make it a celebration.

Sis Ruhi, you mentioned your aunt and her husband might go for Hajj this season.  Did they make it?

Unfortunately nah sis Sad   My aunt is still having that fast heartbeat problem oft and on, in fact more frequent than before.  She's now under medication and they had to call it off this year.  InshAllah, they're eager for next year.  Just pray she improves.
