Not that I could give a tinker's cuss about the devilish smirks of Islamophobes, however their seasoned idiocy needs to be exposed for warning unsuspecting readers.  This includes the thugs of Answering-Islam and their likes that are spreading in the cyber world.

Yet another pettifoggery that has left these thugs slipping like a broken record and spouting tosh is the gross misinterpretation of Verses 10:94 (Surah Jonah) and 11:109 (Surah Hud), quoted as follows.

"And if thou (Muhammad) art in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto thee, then question those who read the Scripture (that was) before thee. Verily the Truth from thy Lord hath come unto thee. So be not thou of the waverers."  (10:94).

"So be not thou in doubt concerning that which these (folk) worship. They worship only as their fathers worshipped aforetime. Lo! we shall pay them their whole due unabated." (11:109).

Please focus on the highlighted portions of the above quoted Verses. Though the above Verses allude to a very simple fact and are completely straight forward,  I have myself read comments from Answering-Islam where they have intentionally twisted these Verses by claiming that the Prophet (pbuh) doubted what was revealed to him.  Such talks are pure mischief that don't even require a comment.  However, for the information of readers, many of whom might be quite naive, let me explain explicitly and briefly.

The above Verses do NOT denote that the Prophet (pbuh) entertained any "doubts" in his mind concerning the Divine Revelations that came to him.  Neither did he have any doubts about the utter FALSEHOOD of the deities which the disbelievers associated with Allah Almighty. Though this verse is outwardly addressed to the Prophet (pbuh), it actually carries a message for the entire community of Mecca, rather the entire world.

The idolaters of Mecca along with many of the Christians and Jews of the Prophet's (pbuh) time rejected the Quran.  Even though several of them (especially among the Christians and Jews) had sufficient proof that it was purely Divine, all of them persisted in their rejection and hurling of insults.

Both Verses imply a confirmation of the authenticity of the Noble Quran and that NO sensible person entertains the notion that those who worship false deities will ever succeed and eventually not find Retribution and heavy punishment in the next world.

Among the idolaters, the worship of false deities and the offerings, sacrifices and invocations addressed to idols were supported neither by knowledge nor careful reflection, nor any scientific perception nor by the use of common sense.  The only basis for such worship was blind following of their ancestors.  The same forms of idol worship found amongst today's polytheists were also found among many of those past nations of the world.  But when the punishment of Allah Almighty them which worshiped false deities and consequently disobeyed all ethical and moral principles commanded by Him, these nations and communities were utterly destroyed. Their idols proved completely useless.  Those polytheists of present times will meet similar fate of total failure and residing in Hellfire forever as soon as they begin their permanent lives in the Hereafter. Many might also face additional punishments on earth prior to the Day of Judgment.

There's no need to make my response any lengthier for as I said, the aspect is much too simple and it requires no further details.

Many, many thanks my Sister.  Very succinctly put.   People shouldn't even be requiring to be told such obvious things but when mischief mongers step in is when confusion starts getting rife among the naive.

Analogically the concept in these Verses is like when a teacher is tutoring a student and informing that student about the negatives of life to beware of, that lesson doesn't only apply to the student but it's a general instruction for the entire universe.

Allah Almighty knew too well how firm the Prophet's (pbuh) Faith was, otherwise would HE have ever chosen Muhammed as HIS messenger?  These Verses are a reiteration and Allah's acknowledgement of the Prophet's strong Faith and the Prophet's awareness of the misguidance of his community.
