It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

 BismEm

Sis Ruhi, salams!  Smiley  With reference to your request for chocolate tarts at Harira post.

Sorry no photos available at the moment but hope you find the tips useful, InshAllah.

Here are a couple of very easy methods for making chocolate tarts.

For pastry use Bulk Barn's flaky crust mix.  That's the first step for making things easier Smiley You know how easy that is.  Only add water as per directions, roll out, cut to size, bake and cool.

First one:  At a kids' party last summer, a sister made some incredible chocolate tarts along side jam tarts with the minimal of labor.   For chocolate filling she used Betty Crocker's milk chocolate frosting and for jam filling, seedless strawberry jam, both available in all stores.  Then she decorated them with little chopped pistachios and walnut bits.  Looked and tasted classic involving relatively little work, ha? Smiley

Second:  Another very easy way of making standard chocolate filling for chocolate pie or tart is this.  You'll need three-quarter cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate bar (both avaiable at Bulk Barn) and half cup cream.  Place chocolate chips in a pyrex bowl or cooking pan.  Heat the cream in the microwave for about 1 and a half minutes until hot.  Now pour it over the chocolate chips.  Leave it for a couple of minutes, then start stirring.  Initially it will look lumpy.  But keep stirring and it will gradually smooth out into a thick batter-like mixture.  That's it.  Allow to cool a little before filling the tart shells in spoonfuls.

Enjoy!  Cheesy

Both ideas sound super. Never thought of the first one though.  Sounds real smarty!  I think I could try that tomorrow as I have both ingredients available in the kitchen - flaky crust mix and the chocolate cake frosting.

The second recipe also sounds super.   I guess the chocolate paste would thicken fast and not be too easy to fill, eh?  Pistachios and walnut pieces for topping sound great, pistachio in particular is awesome for adding an attractive color combination.  Any other decorations you can suggest?

No it isn't too messy sis.  No more than filling tart shells with lemon curd. A good way is to use a ziplock sandwich bag.  With a scissor cut off a tiny corner at the side, then fill the bag with chocolate paste and pipe it filling the tarts. Comes pretty neat.  This is what I generally do.  If you have the regular piping kit, still better.   Other decorations I often use are: Graham cracker crumbs and white chocolate.  Melt a few pieces of white chocolates and put a drop over each brown-chocolate filled tarts with a small teaspoon.  Looks cool and has a good taste.
