It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

As-Salam Alaykum and hi dear folks.   Here is a very poignant yet high-priority reminder I want to share .. a reminder you need to 'bookmark' in your mind!  Take a look below ....

You read that?

We wake up in the morning and we never know what's gonna happen in the evening.  Only Allah Almighty knows it.  Therefore there's no time to waste.  Always be in a hurry to seek the guidance of Allah and implement it in your life immediately.  Do not embark on stupidities like making "resolutions" on new year, birthdays, anniversaries etc. for giving up bad habits. If you're treading the wrong path and you are aware of it, give it up and turn your life around for the better with thanks to Allah Almighty right away.  Do not waste time.  Tomorrow is guaranteed to no one.  Why take the risk to lose an opportunity of acquiring forgiveness in the Hereafter by being ethically lazy?  Be strong and steadfast and expel all shortcomings that dwell within you the moment you catch them.

"Our Rab!  Vouchsafe unto us steadfastness and make us die as men who have surrendered (unto You)."  7:126 - Most Noble Quran.

Wa'salam dear Sis.  Yes, this is critically important.  There's no room for lethargy when it comes to seeking guidance.  Delay of a single day may have tragic permanent consequences.

In my humble opinion, any person .. rather any believer ... who is truly interested in seeking guidance will definitely be in  rush to acquire as much of it as they can and apply into their lives instantly.  A believer whose heart is genuinely hungry for guidance will have no patience to wait for turning to Allah by choosing specific days for it.  That itself is an absurd idea.  That culture of "resolutions" is based on light-hearted attitudes of jest and fun.  Such people are often not serious about guidance.  That's why their so-called resolutions usually last for not more than a few months or few weeks, often few days.

This is a remarkably beautiful reminder.  May Allah Almighty reward you.  Ameen.

Very true and very profound.  Tomorrow is guaranteed to no one.  Even if I'm stepping out for a short while in the afternoon, I offer my Dohr prayer before going instead of planning to come back and offer it.  How do I know if I'll return?

I couldn't agree more Sister.

This post reminds me of a an incident concerning someone we know. My brother's friend's younger brother.  This boy celebrated his 19th birthday.  Though his parents and older brother are totally Faith based, this boy wasn't.  He was completely secular, wouldn't pray, wouldn't fast, wouldn't read the Quran.  His family was very upset and kept persuading him to be a righteous Muslim.  On his 19th birthday he promised his parents and older brother that for one more year he would continue living as a secularist and when he was over with his teens, on his 20th birthday, he would start living as a practicing Muslim and implement its values into his conduct.  Then, barely 2 weeks later he was driving at high speed with a friend  on a rainy day, and the car skidded. The boy died on the spot.  I was told that the other guy survived.  As Sister Heba rightly expressed, I'm also sure this 19-year-old wasn't serious about guidance otherwise why would he want to wait for one year?   However, this is what he said and then this is what happened 14 days after his 19th birthday.  Alas!
~ Sigh ~    Sad

Ya Allah !  Sad   How unfortunate.  In situations like these I actually feel sorry for the family.  How would his parents and siblings feel to think that their son and brother died while he was not in the category of believers?  They must be feeling so helplessly miserable.  May Allah protect everyone from such a tragic fate.  Ameen.

Ameen.

Very true Sister.  For parents and siblings to know that one of their loved ones has opted to stay ignorant and on the path of misguidance is heart rending for them.

A very, very profound post indeed.  If this doesn't awaken slumberous minds, nothing will.

That real  life incident mentioned by br. TS is tragic and a very accurate practical translation of this topic.  Yes, it's awfully sad for the family to know that one of their loved ones has committed himself to a failed existence in the Hereafter.  But the real distress will have to be borne by that person himself.  May Allah Almighty save us all from such grief and ultimate loss.  Ameen ya Rab.
