Refreshingly simple, soothing, neat and filled with the beauty of history.  Pleasantly different from the razzle dazzle of those multi-million $$$$$ crystal/chandelier mosques - like the Shaikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi - where the caretakers try to impress Allah Almighty with their mney rather than their Faith and sincerity.

The simple and subtle beauty of Al Aqsa is unbeatable.  Mosques are places of worship, for remembering Allah, not glittering tourist attractions.

May Allah, The Almighty, grant protection to the lovely Al-Aqsa Masjid which is being ravaged by the Yahud friends of billionaire gulf-Arab leaders.  What you said is so correct Sister.

A couple of years ago the sick US-based Barbadian singer-songwriter, Rihanna, stood at the courtyard of the Shaikh Zayed Mosque wearing a headcover with a tight fitting jumpsuit and struck some bawdy poses as if she was sun-bathing in a beach.  Lousy kuffar critters such as John Kerry, Queen Elizabeth, India's Modi etc. etc. are the frequent so-called "VIP" tourists of Zayed Mosque.  Indeed ignorance is a dreadful disease.

Really?!   And no one stopped her?

No .. no one stopped her at that time.  She walked into the courtyard of the Masjid and posed for photos.  She was stopped when she tried to go inside the Masjid.  At least the authorities had the sense to stop her then.  However, the fact that she took those bad pictures in the courtyard which were posted in instagram and other sites was enough disrespect hurled at the Masjid.  She shouldn't have been allowed to approach anywhere close to it.

Indeed she should not have been allowed anywhere within the premises of the Mosque.  Courtyard is very much a part of every masjid and very closely attached to it.  This was shocking, I never knew.

Wow .. Al Aqsa, the Bait-ul-Muqqadus .. I so much adore it.  The serenity of simplicity is the real unmatched beauty.

These sicko gulf Arab sheikhoos spending billions to add glamor n glitter to their credentials, they don't even spare the masjids.  So many of them have died and been buried.  Yet their descendants who're alive won't learn lessons, that their forefathers who gloated in their petro$$$$$ are at the moment poorer than beggars in the next world ..... and so will be their own fate for their conceit won't allow them to think right.

Btw, I saw those pics of that creature of sorts, Rihanna, romping on the courtyard on Shaikh Zaid Mosque.  Actually what she was wearing wasn't even a hijab.  It was a hoodie fixed with the skin tight jumpsuit, the purpose of which was closer to mocking the hijab rather than modesty out of respect.  At the rate gulf Arab Muslims are slipping, very soon a time will come when they won't distinguish between multi million dollar places and multi million dollar mosques.  Then, neither will I be surprised if lowlifes like Rihana etc are allowed to pose inside gulf Arabian mosques just as they do inside their palaces.

Absolutely sister, they will never learn .... and yes, you're right.  It was a hoodie not hijab.  It didn't occur to me though it struck me as a strange hijab.  Now when you mentioned about hoodie, I realize it was a hoodie not a hijab and hoodie is not the right substitute for hijab.
