It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

June 28, 2023, 09:48:39 am Zainab_M: Walaikum As Salaam.  This was the first Hajj open to all after the pandemic. It was attended by 2.6 million Muslims.

This is a remarkable book written by Mitch Albom.  His compassion is boundless.  Mitch Albom has spent time with many people living through their last days in this earthly world.  His tenderness and emotions have often come into a collosion course with the more practical & insensitive trend of this crazy modern world.

Something he said that really resonated.  Mitch Albom has seen many people dying.  He observed that no matter how turbulent one's relationship might have been with others in life, just before dying, no departing soul speaks angry words about family and friends.  Their final words are always, like .. "I love you," "be happy,"  "look after yourself,"  "forgive me,"  and so on.

His wonderful book, "Tuesdays with Morrie" is about the time he spent with his favourite college professor, after his mentor was diagnosed as being terminal.

Tuesdays With Morrie (Review 1)

The day Mitch Albom graduated from Brandeis College, he hugged his favorite professor goodbye, presented him with a farewell gift and vowed to keep in touch. It was a weak promise, one that he never truly intended to keep. So, the months faded into years and Mitch traveled the traditional American path to success, setting aside his dreams of becoming a musician in favor of better paying jobs and an endless quest for more. Now a newspaper journalist, consumed by a high-pressured job, Morrie Schwartz rarely crossed Mitch’s mind.
All of that changed one fateful evening. Haphazardly flipping through TV channels, Mitch stumbled upon a Nightline interview featuring his much-loved professor and stopped cold in his tracks. For instead of the smiling mentor of old, he saw instead a frail and aging man. Morrie was dying of ALS, Lou Gehrig’s disease, and was sharing his final story with the world.

Memories came rushing back and soon Mitch was on a plane back into his past, a trip that would set him back on course to the true meaning of life. Time may have visibly aged them, but inside Mitch and Morrie were still the same people. Their friendship flourished right where it had left off and a courageous dying man found an eternal voice in his former student. This would be their final thesis and Mitch would share the story.

So, every Tuesday, without fail, Mitch made the trip from Detroit to Massachusetts to meet with Morrie, discussing the old man’s last thoughts about regret, death, family and love, penning them down for posterity. And in his final words of advice, Mitch would re-evaluate his own life, the profound reminder of earth’s greatest treasures ringing in his ears.

Tuesdays with Morrie is that story. Through Mitch’s and Morrie’s eyes, you’ll laugh, you’ll cry and you’ll be reawakened to the overwhelming power of love.

Tuesdays With Morrie (Review 2)

Are you scared to express your feelings about death, marriage, love and other things? Mitch Albom was. Tuesdays with Morrie is a true story about his favorite college professor, Morrie Schwartz. After many years without keeping in touch (though Mitch promised he would), he finds out Morrie is dying from Lou Gehrig's disease. One visit with Morrie isn't enough and Mitch finds himself flying to Massachusetts every Tuesday to have long talks about life's greatest lessons with his professor, whom he calls "Coach." Each Tuesday Mitch brings Coach his favorite foods and records their conversations. Mitch plays back the tapes and thinks about the lesson of that day.

Some of the most difficult topics for Mitch were death and love. Mitch was terrified to even say the words, "Morrie is dying." After discussing death for hours, Mitch overcomes his fear. Morrie has a very special outlook on life and tries to live it to the fullest. All he really wants is happiness for himself, all his friends and family. Mitch gradually understands the life lessons Morrie is teaching and finally made a commitment his own life. Mitch is just beginning the life Morrie can only talk about.

After months of spending Tuesdays with Morrie, Mitch is faced with his death. Mitch begins teaching others the lessons Morrie taught him.
