It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

Wallahi!  What a mind-blowing idea ..... love it.    I'll show this to our kiddos .. ideal for the younger ones.  Older ones aren't interested in outdoor camping either.  They are growing into real sober Muslims and Muslimahs, tons of thanks to Allah.

So, for the younger kids, how to prepare this indoor camp / tent.  Do we need to buy the required equipment to set it up?

Alhumdulilah, that's called blessings from The Almighty.

No Sister Heba, you don't need to buy any equipment.  I'm not sure if such stuff is at all available at the stores.  Creative and handy-guy kids make it on their own, one way or another:)  Our two boys, who too are pretty sober and mature to indulge in kid games any longer, do like to prepare cozy games for their lil sister to enjoy them.  So they put up the indoor camp last week.  Something like, placing two chairs at 2 ends of the room; then tying a thick string from the headrest of one chair to another.  Next step, use any large piece of  linen or drape you may have like old curtain, old bedcover or bedsheet etc. (make sure it's clean and not dusty).  My mom gave them a large old georgette material she had.  So they put the georgette over the string so that it hung and came down to the floor on both sides (as you can see in the image).  Then stretch it outwards a bit from both sides to get the tent shape and place some small cushions on or against the georgette material that falls on the floor .... both sides.  Or simply place a somewhat large soft mattress inside it and tuck the ends of the georgette within the mattress either side.  That's it Smiley

Got it sis.  Sounds super and simple.   My daughter is asking if this can be put up in the open balcony we have upstairs.  What's your opinion?

In the open balcony ??  Undecided   ummm ... not sure sis.  I don't think that would be safe ... not overnight camping in the balcony of a house which might be easily accessible by intruders or burglars.  If you're in a highrise, like 25th floor or penthouse  then it's fine.  But balconies of homes wouldn't be suitable for kids to sleep in overnight.  Tell your daughter, bedroom would be best.  Though we're in a highrise, yet my kids put it up in the den.

That's exactly what I was thinking dear Sis.  Sure bedroom would be best.
