November 01, 2023, 03:43:43 pm Ruhi_Rose: Yes .. making lots of dua everyday ..... watching those real life video clips, my face feels wet with tears all the time.  May ALLAH grant the best to these wonderful, brave & steadfast martyrs,  Ameen ya Allah.
November 01, 2023, 03:38:26 pm Zainab_M: Keep praying, praying a lot for Gaza. It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.
October 26, 2023, 03:40:19 pm N. Truth Seeker: Don't forget to look up MV Blog Zainab's Lounge for our Gaza updates.
October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.
July 29, 2023, 03:02:07 am Zainab_M: Yesterday was Ashura, Muharram 10, 1444 (July 27, 2023).  Read about this very tragic day and details of the world's greatest 7th century revolutionary: WHO WAS HUSSEIN.
June 28, 2023, 09:48:39 am Zainab_M: Walaikum As Salaam.  This was the first Hajj open to all after the pandemic. It was attended by 2.6 million Muslims.

"Do not curse fever" -  Hadith nonsense on fever.

Jabir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, entered the home of Umm Sa’ib and he said, “What ails you, O Umm Sa’ib? You are shivering.” She said, “It is a fever. Allah has not blessed it.” The Prophet said, “Do not curse fever. Verily, it removes the sins of the children of Adam just as a furnace removes dirt from iron.”  Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2575.

One of the hadiths implies wudu water washes away one's immoralities.  Now according to another Hadith, fever is a blessing in disguise because if you get fever, all your sins will supposedly be washed away.

Will our jurists find out what sort of mental instability were these hadith compilers were suffering from?

Cheesy ahah hah ha ....  All crooks speak this way.  While they're themselves too eager to live well, they tell tales to the effect that suffering elevates the soul so that the unfortunate don't complain and stay silent.    A very recent example of such a shyster was mother Teresa.  The old crook said "suffering was a gift from God."  She discouraged, sometimes reprimanded, the poor who were dependent on her hospice, if they felt unhappy or distraught at their poverty or at the deprived state of their children by telling them they were fortunate for their suffering. That's because she wanted to keep the donations for herself.  So, when she herself felt unwell with the slightest of health issues, she never saw it as a blessing.   Instead she immediately flew to Houston and California for treatment in the best of clinics using charity funds meant for the poor she was supposedly helping but was actually duping them with the blah blah that their poverty and illness was a blessing for them.

Since the hadith literature largely comes from the altered Bibles, you will find it reflects plenty of similar attitudes rife in Christian clerics who are running neck and neck with the Wahabis, or probably ahead of the Wahabis, when it comes to fraud and double talk.

Yes, I absolutely get your point Sister.  Just about every hadith has some particular attitude issue, very often resembling the altered Bibliers.

Absolutely crazy.  Instead of saying that when you are ill or down with a fever, remember Allah and pray to Him to heal you, this forged hadith sounds ludicrous as this institution always does.

Really enjoyed reading Sister Heba's input  Smiley  Very correct Sis.

Exactly.

Another reason for narrating & compiling such lies is that they want to show the Prophet (pbuh) as a harsh and insensitive person.  I've noticed this trend of theirs in just about every hadith.

O yes ... that is a very common approach within the hadith culture.

Another hype very popular among hadithers and fatwa givers is weaving negative tales about depression and sadness.  Ibn Al-Qayyim, who is quite notorious for his absurd ides, says a "sad believer" is "Shaitan's beloved."   Cheesy

"Grief weakens the heart, weakens determination, hurts a person's will and nothing is more beloved to Shaytan than a sad believer."  This strange gossip is contained in  some collection  titled Tareequl Hijratain 1/418.
