It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

Rajab and Shaban are the 7th and 8th months of our Islamic (Hijra) calendar, respectively.  Though the Noble Quran does not tell us to fast on these two months, the traditionalist circles fervently encourage to fast in Rajab and Shaban, particularly Rajab.  Fasting in Rajab and Shaban comes exclusively from the fabrications of Hadith.   As a result, many Muslims are exhausted by the time Ramadan (the 9th Hijri month) arrives when fasting is obligatory as commanded in the Quran.  This is how our ulemas and sheikhs pull us away from the commandments of the Quran by the needless distractions of man-written stories.   Among the many preachings to push people to observe the non-obligatory fasts in Rajab, there is a hadith that circulates claiming 'Rajab' to be the name of a river in Jannat.   Quoting that hadith:  “Indeed, in Paradise. there is a river called Rajab river. It’s water is whiter than milk, sweeter than honey, whoever fasts a day in the month of Rajab, Allah will give him drinks from that river.”  Narrated by Abu Qasim At-Taimi in “At Targhib wa At Tarhib”.   This phony hadith is also commonly accepted by Shiia Muslims in the name of "Imam Musa Kazim."   While I have no idea who this Abu Qasim At-Taimi is, Imam Musa Kazim's name is surely forged for he was a man of repute and would not utter such falsehood.

“At Targhib wa At Tarhib” perhaps means something like 'encouragement and warnings' (encouragement referring to zikr) by  Ibn Hajar al-‘Asqalani.   This book is basically a  conglomerate of ahadith.   For example I read one chapter posted on the website of The Islamic Text Institute.  In this chapter I couldn't find a single Ayat of the Quran.   Just hadith from start to finish.

Thus, beware of the false hadith on Rajab.  Fasting in the month of Rajab is not a Quranic commandment.  And the claim that a river in Paradise exists in the name of Rajab is a guesswork.

Their wild guesses are often laughable.  I had never heard of this.   It seems to be a copycat idea of the hadith misinterpretation of the Quranic term "kausar" (Surah 108).

What?   Rajab "river in Paradise" ?????  Shocked

As we know, Allah Almighty has confirmed in the Quran the names of 4 rivers in Paradise -  Zanjabil, Salsabil, Kafur and Tasnim.   There can be more, but Allah has mentioned only four so we should not be making up any on our own.  But apart from the Hadith distortion of Quranic term "Kausar" and now the baseless story of Rajab as a river, Hadith also claims that the earthly rivers of Nile (in Egypt) and Euphrates (in Iraq & Syria) originated from Paradise

~ take a deep breath folks ~

Bukhari reported from Anas Ibn Maalik that the Prophet said: “I was shown As-Sidrah (Lote Tree), where I saw four rivers, two visible rivers and two hidden rivers. The two visible rivers are the Nile and the Euphrates, and the two hidden rivers are rivers in Paradise.

According to Muslim bin Hejaj (who was Bukhari's student), the Prophet had named Euphrates and Nile in Paradise as "Seehaan and Jeehaan" saying “Seehaan and Jeehaan (the Euphrates and the Nile) are all from the rivers of Paradise.

Take a deep breath again ......

Instead of rejecting these forgeries of Bukhari & his student using the name of the Prophet (pbuh), Sheikh Albani tries to justify these baseless ahadith claiming “Perhaps what is meant is that these rivers originated from Paradise just as mankind did; this Hadeeth does not contradict the well-established fact that these rivers spring forth from known sources on earth. If this is not in fact the meaning of this Hadeeth, then it is one of the matters of the Unseen (Al-Ghayb), which we must believe and accept because the Prophet sallallaahu  alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ) has told us about it.”

Sheikh Albani's motive is easy to catch.  He is attempting to protect the forgeries of Bukhari & co.  and has no qualms attributing false quotations to the Final Messenger (pbuh).  We can be 200% sure that the Prophet (pbuh) never uttered such words.

In other words, to protect the falsehood woven by certain people and to give leverage to it, our sheikhs and ulemas prefer to tarnish the Prophet's (pbuh) reputation by using his name in those falsifications cooked by the hadith compilers and narrators.   This is much too unacceptable.   They forget, Allah is Watching.

My head is reeling 🧐

With these man-made stories, there can be no end to any topic.  It just goes on and on, re-edited and made lengthier every few years by the storytellers.

I know a hadith-following brother who fasts meticulously in Rajab and also observes at least 10 to 15 fasts in Shaban.  Then in Ramadan he often misses at least 5 to 10 (does them qaza).  Because of the fatigue caused by so many non-obligatory fasts immediately prior to Ramadan, he cannot do some of the obligatory (fard) fasts of Ramadan.  Yet he never understands the importance of correcting his priorities.

Thanks sister Ruhi.  My head is reeling too despite the deep breath Cheesy   Never knew that Nile and Euphrates came from Jannah according to Bukhari's day-dreams.

This is a very common issue with many hadithists and they seem to enjoy incorrect priorities.
