November 01, 2023, 03:43:43 pm Ruhi_Rose: Yes .. making lots of dua everyday ..... watching those real life video clips, my face feels wet with tears all the time.  May ALLAH grant the best to these wonderful, brave & steadfast martyrs,  Ameen ya Allah.
November 01, 2023, 03:38:26 pm Zainab_M: Keep praying, praying a lot for Gaza. It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.
October 26, 2023, 03:40:19 pm N. Truth Seeker: Don't forget to look up MV Blog Zainab's Lounge for our Gaza updates.
October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

June 28, 2023, 09:48:39 am Zainab_M: Walaikum As Salaam.  This was the first Hajj open to all after the pandemic. It was attended by 2.6 million Muslims.

Tentative date for Ramadan 2019 would be May 6th, Allah willing.

Mubarak to all sisters and brothers who observed Ramadan 2018 with sincerity and success.  May The Almighty accept your fasting, your Quran readings, your prayers and your supplications.  Ameen.  Please keep up the great work with improvements in your conduct.

It's entirely up to Allah Almighty to grant the privilege to whomsoever He wishes to experience the next Ramadan.  Earthly life is much too uncertain.  Therefore it would be wise to take every Ramadan we experience as our last.

Eid-al-Fitr Mubarak to those who observe it.  Eid is simply a social event.  Not a Quranic injunction.  In accordance with the Truth (Noble Quran alone), only Ramadan is of utmost importance.

Walaikum Salam and ameen, ameen ya Allah.    How time flies dear folks, and with the flying of each moment every individual - young or old  - comes a step closer to their Final Journey.   Let us try not to miss even a single opportunity to earn sawab from Him, and the month of Ramadan is one of the most significant of such opportunities.

Yeah sis, and I guess time is also coming close for your marathon grocery shopping for stocking essential Ramadan provisions, right?   Smiley

Yeah sis, brother.  We try our best to stock all non-perishable items like cooking oil, sugar, tea, rice, white flour, chickpea flour, instant powder milk etc.  Also on some essential toiletries.   The idea is to have the minimal and shortest of interruptions on something as boring as grocery shopping in Ramadan.  So, usually our Ramadan shopping is only for stuff like meat, veggies, fruits, fresh bread and some fresh milk which is quite quick.   InshAllah, will go for the "marathon" grocery shopping early May .....   Smiley

That sounds like an excellent idea, except that the first big shopping must be really lengthy and stressful with the boot of your car getting jammed full.

lol ,, no brother not too stressful.  We aren't the only ones.  Three or four of our families go together in different cars;  so all items are spread out and accommodated in those 3 or 4 cars.

Sounds like a good idea to me too.  I'm sure it saves a lot of trips to the stores on Ramadan days, giving more time at home for the busy Ramadan schedule.  I wish we could also do that.  But our kids are just so moody.  At least one or two of them have a new idea for food everyday.  It's impossible to stock up for the entire month for these brattos  Cheesy

As the blessed month in 2019 comes to a close, our folks have started the usual confusion once again.  Some segments say fasting ends June 3 with Eid al fitr on June 4.  Some say last day of fasting is June 4 and Eid al Fitr June 5.

What about you guys?
