It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

I dare say, traditional ideas from unthinking minds remain discrepant.   According to the ‘sahabah adulation syndrome,’  anyone who saw the Prophet (pbuh) in person gets the title of a “sahabah.”  With that sort of logic, even Hell bound transgressors like Abu Lahab, Abu Jahl and Abdullah bin Ubbey may claim to be sahabahs.

This syndrome isn’t merely a societal trope.  It’s supposed to be taken literally as truth that infallibility is inherent of certain humans, a fallacious mindset that needs to be wholly revised within both sects - Sunnis as well as the Shiias.  According to this path of ignorance, the Sunnis strive to claim the infallibility of the sahabahs and the Shiias strive similarly in regard to the Ahl Bayt.   The Sunnis being a far bigger sect, their distortions have played a larger role in obscuring the facts.

There are countless forged ahadith in praise of the sahabahs.  Quoted below are a few, enough to give an idea of the traditionalist strategy to desperately thwart all disagreements over the ‘sahabah adulation syndrome’ by stamping those who differ as “haters” of the Prophet (pbuh).

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mughaffal:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "(Fear) Allah! (Fear) Allah regarding my Companions! Do not make them objects of insults after me. Whoever loves them, it is out of love of me that he loves them. And whoever hates them, it is out of hatred for me that he hates them. And whoever harms them, he has harmed me, and whoever harms me, he has offended Allah, and whoever offends Allah, [then] he shall soon be punished."  Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3862.  Book 49, Hadith 262.  Vol. 1, Book 46, Hadith 3862.

No one knows who Mughaffal was except that he was the same falsifier who played the melodrama that he saw in a dream the Final Hour established.  Even the Prophet (pbuh) never knew anything on this matter but Ibn Mughaffal somehow did.

Thus, according to this fearless liar, any one who disagrees with the ‘sahabah adulation syndrome’ must be viewed as haters of the Prophet (pbuh).

Another one ….

Abdullah ibn Umar reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The curse of Allah is upon the one who insults my companions.”  Source: al-Mu’jam al-Awsaṭ 7015.

Even according to the hadithists themselves, including the Salafist, Al-Albani, this hadith couldn’t be accepted as “sahih” (although “sahih” in the hadith world corresponds to anything but correctness).  According to hadith ranking, it is “hasan” (or fair), that is, between “sahih” and “daif.”  So, you can figure out what a resounding lie this narration is!   Yet it is confidently quoted by all our shaikhs and muftis.

Another one, much too shocking narrated by none else other than the champion deceiver, Abu Huraira! ….

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:  “Do not revile my Companions, do not revile my Companions. By Him in Whose Hand is my life, that even if one among you had as much gold as Mount Uhud and spent it in the way of Allah, this would not be equal in reward to a handful spent by them or even to its half.”   Sahih Muslim 2540, Book 44, Hadith 316, Book 31, Hadith 6167.

The above quoted sick narration makes distinctions in regard to charity, not on the basis of human intentions and efforts, but on the basis of social status.  As if, only specific people can acquire the blessings of charity regardless of their human quality and miserly approach.  This forgery is so disgraceful, violating the Quranic values so blatantly, that both the narrator and the compiler should have been awarded stringent punishments.

With the Islamic month of Muharram coming to a close, Shaikh Yusuf Badat of Toronto (who, recently and suddenly, acquired the title of  Mufti Yusuf Badat)  delivered a talk on the life of Imam Hussein.    Imam Hussein being the Prophet’s (pbuh) grandson and a very significant member of the Prophet’s (pbuh) household, Mufti Badat devised an approach for the introduction of his presentation.  In keeping with the modern Sunni tradition, he decided to balance the content of his talk between Ahl Bayt and the “companions.”    Cashing in on the influence of spiritual demagoguery, he went  haywire on the  ‘adulation syndrome’ with the support of hadith forgeries one after another.  It was quite an overdose for the naïve audience.   But knowing where they were coming from, they must have believed every word without the shadow of a doubt.    In the process, as is common with traditionalists, Mufti Badat couldn’t care a fig misinterpreting the Noble Quran to promote the hadith.  Instead of stating that we honor Hussein for his courage and resistance to injustice, Mufti Badat preferred to say “we honor every sahabah and every member of Ahl e Bait.”   The utterance insinuates honoring Abu Huraira & Co. as much as Imam Hussein.   Certainly no decent allusion by a long shot.  It’s a crafty balancing tactic, elevating  the hadith narrators or the later-time young rabble-rousers comprising of the  recent converts to Islam mainly for personal / political gains hardly known to the Prophet (pbuh).   Most of them had never even met the Prophet (pbuh).   Apart from Huraira (whose narrations could barely conceal his eagerness to defame the Prophet pbuh), some of the others include Abu Qatada, Abu Dharr, Anas bin Malik, Amr bin Aas, Jabir ibn Abdullah, Said al-Khudri and Abu Darda to name just a few from a diffused list of thousands of forgers and falsifiers.

When Mufti Badat began displaying ‘symptoms’ of sahabah adulation, the cheese pretty much slipped off his cracker.   According to him, the Quran tells us to address all sahabahs as “Radi allahu anhu” with reference to Verse 9:100 of Surah At-Taubah.  As common with all hadithists, he has misinterpreted this Verse by taking it completely out of context.  Let us explain it.

Quoting Verse 9:100 as follows:

“And the first to lead the way, of the Muhajirin and the Ansar, and those who followed them in goodness - Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Him, and He has made ready for them Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide for ever. That is the supreme triumph.”  9:100 At-Taubah.

As you must have observed, in hadith narrations they often mention “radi Allahu anhu” (Allah be pleased with him or may Allah be pleased with him) for most hadith narrators.  But that has nothing to do with V.9:100.  In this Verse. Allah Almighty refers to  a specific situation, that is, during the hijra (migration), when the people of Makkah (Muhajireens or emigrants) fled to Medinah to avoid persecution by the Qureysh and the residents of Medinah (Ansars or helpers) welcomed and assisted them.   The emigrants (men and women) sacrificed the comfort of their homes in Makkah and relocated to Medinah despite the hardships only for the love of Allah so that they could practice their Faith freely and offer whatever help possible for the prosperity of the nascent Islamic State in Medinah.  Subsequently, the residents of Medinah (men and women) extended their maximum support with love and generosity to the new arrivals.  It is in this context The Almighty mentions in V.9:100 that HE is well pleased with them (raḍiya Allahu anhum) referring to the Muhajireen and the Ansars.    Allah is not referring to the hadith narrators of Bukhari’s dishonest compilations.  It’s very simple to perceive this Mufti’s intentional and gross misinterpretation of V.9:100 and consequently misinforming and misguiding his audience.   It is also necessary to note that The Almighty does not say “may Allah be pleased” nor “Allah be pleased” but the Divine Statement is far more assertive, confirming “Allah is well pleased.”

We have a post here at MV by one of our former contributors, Sister Muslima.  That post is titled  Radi Allahu Anhu is a Traditional use or it's a Quranic term?  The short answer is that “Radi Allahu Anhu” is certainly a Quranic expression but it is used in the Quran in a completely different context compared to its use by traditionalists in regard to the hadith narrators.

Last but NOT least, a paramount point to mention:  The discreet goal of the ‘sahabah adulation syndrome’  is to promote the credibility of fabrications, tales and fatwas from human sources.  In the process, our shaikhs, shaikhas and muftis touch base with the pinnacles of impertinence when they claim that the “sahabahs” preserved the Noble Quran.   They do not allude to the Prophet’s (pbuh) inner circle of family and friends.  Rather, their allusion is to the endless names of dubious narrators (in some cases supposed narrators) within the massive collection of forgeries called the hadith literature.  The truth is, the revelations of the Noble Quran, as they came, were cared for by none except the Prophet (pbuh) himself and a small handful of his very close and thoroughly trusted circle of people, primarily the Rashidun.  Mind you, every Divine Revelation as it arrived, remained in the Prophet’s memory which makes him (pbuh) the first caretaker (hafez) of the Final Message sent to him.   Still more importantly, The Almighty confirms that His Final Book remains protected in Lawh Mahfooz (guarded tablet), declaring that He, Himself, takes responsibility for preserving it.  But the aversion to Truth is so deep within our shaikhs and muftis, that they ignore the confirmation of Allah Almighty for the sake of venerating Abu Huraira & Co.

To get acquainted with the wealth of facts on the preservation of the Noble Quran, do please take the time to study our following posts.

I absolutely like the title you’ve given to this post, sister.   Unconditional sahabah admiration - mostly of those who never even spoke to the Prophet (pbuh) nor met him – is very much a syndrome, honestly.  This pile of forgery comes with so many absurdities dramatically presented by the shaikhs, muftis and so-called scholars.  If only the listeners knew the extent of their teachers’ misguidance.

I don’t know why none of these muftis and scholars have ever delivered any talk on a very obvious topic as to how Abu Huraira got to narrate over 5,000 ahadith in just 3 years from the age of 27 to 30.  He arrived in Medinah as a non-Muslim on the 7th year of the Hijra (not 6th year as some shaikhs discreetly try to lie) and the crook was barely 27.  That was during the last 3 years of the Prophet’s (pbuh) lifetime when he was constantly busy with the administrative and religious works of a growing Empire that he barely had time to spend with his family each day.  It was a time when he (pbuh) was well established in the society of Medinah with trusted and intelligent relatives and friends like Abu Bakr, Umer, Osman, Ali, Zaid bin Sabit and more who arrived during the early years of the Hiijra with a long stretch of association with the Prophet (pbuh).  Yet we are expected to believe that the Prophet (pbuh) trusted an unknown Jew arriving from Yemen during the final days of his (pbuh) worldly existence more than a lifetime of confidants.

Just imagine, this unscrupulous man reportedly narrated 5,370 ahadith in 3 years.  That number is almost as lengthy as the entire Noble Quran of 6,348 Verses revealed over 23 years.

Initially my husband and I thought that this Badat guy was a bit more reliable than many of his other colleagues.  But alas!  No.

And his manipulated misinterpretation of Quranic Verse 9:100 is unforgivable.

What was his sudden promotion from shaikh to mufti about?  who in their circle issues these promotions?

Such 'promotions' are a greenlight for the entitlement to spew greater lies.  Issuing fatwas on Sharia laws is considered within the bounds of a mufti, but probably not a shaikh.  No idea who decides on these titles.  Most likely it sprouts from within their own circle of senior buddy hadithists during an informal living room chat at the summer cottage purchased from donations on Leilatul Qadr.

In any case, who cares for their promotions?  The only thing that matters is when will they stop tale-telling and distorting our beautiful Faith?

As for the adulation syndrome ahadith by Huraira, Mughaffal, ibn Umer etc. are much too irritating to even talk about .. Badat's misinterpretation of V.9:100 was real time mischief.  "raḍiya Allahu anhum" in this Verse is an expression within the Divine Message for a large group of people (emigrants and residents of Medinah) who made the right decisions in life and whose deeds were good, pleasing to Allah.  According to the definition of "sahabah" by the hadithists, we don't even know if all those people in Medinah ever got a chance to meet the Prophet (pbuh) personally.  Yet Badat has generalized it for all those thousands of names of narrators in the hadith books.  It is the same kind of misinterpretation as they have done with V.59:7 of Al-Hashr, I quote  "Whatever the Messenger gives you, take it. And whatever he forbids you from, leave it."  In this Verse Allah Almighty is talking about about the distribution of spoils of war.  But our jurists perpetually and stubbornly pick this line of Verse 59:7 and explain it out of context as a justification for accepting hadith.  Of course the jurists play this game with many Verses of the Noble Quran, and Badat has done the same with V.9:100.

Absolutely right sister.  Each time you talk to a hadithist, they will quote that line of V.59:7 in an attempt to make you feel that you are violating the Quran by not accepting the hadith.  And these folks have not even read the entire Surah Al-Hashr.  When you tell them that that line of V.59:7 is a part of the Verse referring to a specific topic of spoils of war, they will either shift the topic to another line of argument or get aggressive with a load of name calling.

The 'disinformation school' run by our jurists is very, very worrisome.
