November 01, 2023, 03:43:43 pm Ruhi_Rose: Yes .. making lots of dua everyday ..... watching those real life video clips, my face feels wet with tears all the time.  May ALLAH grant the best to these wonderful, brave & steadfast martyrs,  Ameen ya Allah.
November 01, 2023, 03:38:26 pm Zainab_M: Keep praying, praying a lot for Gaza. It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

June 28, 2023, 09:48:39 am Zainab_M: Walaikum As Salaam.  This was the first Hajj open to all after the pandemic. It was attended by 2.6 million Muslims.

As-Salaam Alaikum to all our readers and visitors.   We start the 1st of Zil-Hajj on July 22.   The first 10 days of this month are a very suitable stretch of time to remember The Almighty with extra prayers as this is the time when Hajj is most widely performed.  Fasting on the Day of Arafah (9th day of Zil-Hajj) is not a Quranic command, however if you wish to fast it will be a very positive step as worship of Allah Almighty is always rewarded by Him.

Those interested to study about Hajj, please check our following posts with complete information directly from the QURAN.

- What does the Quran say about Hajj
- Brief history of Hajj
- Shaving head / cutting hair on completion of Hajj
- Is taking care of trade and business allowed during Hajj?
- Is Hajj-e-Badal permissible?
- Sacrificing animal in Zil-Hajj
- Four sacred months

Although this year Hajj is closed from those residing outside the Arabian peninsula because of the pandemic, the day of Hajj is tentatively on July 30, InshAllah, and the traditional occasion of Eid-al-Adha is on July 31.

Walaikum As-Salaam dear Sister Heba.  Thank you very much for putting up the list of information on Hajj and the 4 sacred months.

I would request our readers who are eager to learn about Hajj based on contents of the Noble Quran to read these linked posts.

Allah bless.  May HE accept our efforts.  Ameen ya Allah.

Thank you sisters.   Very comforting reminder.  This year Hajj will be for Saudi residents only, that too with all precautions and social distancing.  The area around the Kaa'ba will look very different this year, with very few people.

Insh'Allah, all of us intend to fast on the Day of Arafah (9 Dhul Hijjah) which is also the day of Hajj.  May Allah The Almighty accept our efforts.  Ameen.

As-salam Alaykum dear MV sisters/colleagues and all our readers.  These 10 days (particularly today) is a  very favorable stretch of time to offer nafls in addition to our daily 5 obligatory salat.  Today (9th of Hajj and Yawn al-Arafah) is also a very good day to observe an optional fast.

Hajj 2020 mubarak.  But it's a very different Hajj from what we're used to seeing and experiencing.  From the regular average of 2.5 million pilgrims, this year there are only 10,000 with full Covid restrictions - masks, social distancing, temperature checks - and all these restrictions are necessary as the pandemic is rapidly re-surging after early reopenings with death tolls rising globally.

Please click the following link and watch the video on Hajj 2020 during the pandemic.  This too will go down into history even after the pandemic is gone some day, InshAllah.

Alhumdulilah, Alhumdulilah.  Yes a very different Hajj yet looks remarkably beautiful and wonderfully organized.  Allah The Greatest makes sure that the first place built for His worship always looks breathtaking, pandemic or no pandemic.  Indeed this remarkable time will go down into history.  Those brothers and sisters who performed Hajj this year are indeed fortunate.  May The Almighty accept their efforts.  Ameen.
