November 01, 2023, 03:38:26 pm Zainab_M: Keep praying, praying a lot for Gaza. It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

At the end of the earthly journey transitioning to the Final Journey, be it a prince or a pauper, the similarity is amazing.  The prince cannot carry a nickel from his billions nor can the pauper carry his beggar's bowl.  Except for the strength of their Faith and their deeds, all other possessions are abruptly marked date expired.   Both have to deliver up their souls to the Angel of Death (Malik-ul-Mawt) as they travel to the next world - the Journey of a lifetime, the Final Journey.

"Say: The angel of death, who has charge concerning you, will gather you, and afterward unto your Rab you will be returned."  32:11 As-Sajdah.

"Every soul will taste of death. And you will be paid on the Day of Resurrection only that which you have fairly earned."  3:185  Al-Imran.

"If you could see, when the wrong-doers reach the pangs of death and the angels stretch their hands out (saying): Deliver up your souls.  6:93 Al-Anam.

In this temporary world, a muflis ( مفلس)  is a person with little or no money.  In the Hereafter, a muflis is a person with little or no iman.

If you fear a human being, you want to run away from them.   If you fear Allah, you want run towards Him with love and hope of His acceptance.

If you are a slave of another human being, you feel humiliated and upset.   If you are a slave of Allah, you feel proud and privileged.

How many people are genuinely aware of the insignificance of the materialism they strive for each day?   Hardly any!   And what is the destination?

(Allah) will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?"  They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count."   (23:112-113)  Al-Mominun.

When a neglectful person will be questioned by The Almighty on the Day of Judgment about the length of time they spent in this world, it will seem to them like a day or half a day.   A flashback of their entire hectic life full of materialistic struggles will feel like a day or less.    Say this to people while they are still in this fleeting world and they will laugh.  Majority will laugh like you uttered a senseless joke.   Some may respond with anger or cynicism.   But alas their ignorance.   This is the most significant Truth, the Ultimate Truth.  Imagine how much the thoughts and values of humanity would be elevated only if they pondered carefully.    But for unthinking minds, the simple aspect to grasp often becomes the toughest.

This doesn't imply you should not focus on the blessings Allah has provided you in this world.    It's all about balancing with the right measure, helping to adjust one's perspective for contentment in both the worlds.    In the temporary world, contentment remains the key to happiness, not the quantity of riches.

"Our Rab!  Give unto us in the world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and guard us from the Fire."  2:201  Al-Baqrah.

However, imploring Allah for good in this world doesn't imply the razzle-dazzle of riches, gold, silks, velvets, diamonds, classy houses, fabulous cars etc.   It implies contentment with everything or whatever you have.  You cannot achieve this without the excellence of guidance.   When you acquire contentment in your heart, happiness will no more be elusive.

If only more humans realized that the blessings of The Almighty aren't only in what He gives to us, but also just as much in what He takes away from us.

"ghuf'rānaka  rabbanā  wa-ilayka  al-maṣīru" 2:285  (Forgive us, our RAB, to YOU is the journey's end."

Ya Allah, we need You in our lives, every minute, every moment, every split-second.   🤍

Thoroughly inspiring.   Wonderfully articulated.    I passed it on to my dad and tonight after dinner, he didn't watch the television news as usual, but read this piece
🙂

May The Almighty grant you the fruits of your hard work Sister Ruhi.  Ameen.   I couldn't agree more with every single word.
