Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

Can the above Verse be confirmed as an assertion that those who slip back to disbelief after belief will face greater punishment in the Hereafter compared to those who never believed at all?

Perhaps it is a warning to the disbelievers of those times, as well as believers that faith is not something folly and requires serious life long commitment,  therefore they should take all measures to ensure they acquire faith (if they are disbelievers)  and secure their faith (if their believers). I am not sure of the difference in punishment in the hereafter between those who slip back into disbelief and those who never believed. But there is certainty the hypocrites who falsely profess to having faith yet are actually disbelievers will be given the worst possible punishment in the hereafter. Hypocrites can be both from those who never believed,  and those who slipped back to disbelief.

In that thread I am specifically referring to a person who was a believer, then stumbled after failing the tests of life and openly became a disbeliever in the form of a hardcore secularist, as he calls himself.

Nauzubillah min zalik. May I know sister how does one identify as a secularist? Im guessing they adopt a man-made ideology as the driving force for each and every of their thought, speech and action. Even if some of this ideologies may by chance, reflect certain Quranic ideals, the fact that they choose something other than The Criterion sent down by Allah for the specific purpose of providing guidance is a blatant and undeniable act of kufr.

By definition secularists refer to those who don't agree with religion being a part of public life. 

Islam being a code of a believer's life, when a practicing Muslim becomes a secularist, it basically means they have left the Islamic Faith.
