This is animal abuse, NOT a joke!

Salam and hi everyone.    You know, there are some people who keep fruits like pears and apples in their yard to feed birds and squirrels.  On the face of it this sounds very kind.  But it isn't.  You know why?   Fruits like pears and apples when left out in the sun for long begin to ferment.  Fermented pears and apples develop a high alcohol percentage.  When these poor unsuspecting squirrels and birds eat it, they begin feel very dizzy and unwell.   Some perverted people who see squirrels feeling unsteady and sick after eating fermented fruits, laugh and think it's funny labelling it as "drunk squirrels."  THIS IS NOT FUNNY.  This is not a "drunk squirrel."  It is a victim of animal abuse.   

Never keep foods in your yard for squirrels and birds that are likely to ferment after a while.  Choose the food carefully you leave for them outside, like peanuts, almonds, walnuts, cookies, bread n butter sandwiches, pastry crusts etc.  .. things that don't ferment.

Really appalling to know what sort of mindset some people have.  This poor lovely squirrel, who was healthy a while ago, will now feel ill for a couple of days. 

Shame on those people, if they do this intentionally.

It's so sad when people derive humor by playing such harsh pranks on innocent, unsuspecting animals.  Humans are are brazenly unconscientious, instead of trying to give up their own culture of drinking, they are trying to link that practice with animals as well to have a laugh.

My mom saw this and was really angry on western hypocrisy of animal welfare .. taking animal abuse to be a joke.
