 BismEm

 salamem

Please note:

(As published in CAIR Newsletter dated August 8, 2007)

On August 10, many Muslims worldwide will mark "Isra and Miraj," the Prophet Muhammad's night journey from Mecca to Jerusalem, and from the rock now located in the Dome of the Rock, to heaven.

"Glorified be He Who carried His servant by night from the Inviolable Place of Worship to the Far distant place of worship the neighbourhood whereof We have blessed, that We might show him of Our tokens! Lo! He, only He, is the Hearer, the Seer."  (Glorious Quraan - 17:1)
[/b]

(My late beloved father's birthday is also on August 10th.  Please recite a few verses of the Quraan in his memory and pray that Allah, The Highest, grant him the best place in Jannah .. InshAllah, ameen).

wsalam  and thanks a pile for this information, sister.

I read this a day earlier and subsequently also received the CAIR newsletter.  Alhamdulilah, my family and I observed Isra and Meraj.

And we also prayed for your late beloved father.  It must have been hard for you.  I know how heartbreaking such a loss can be.  But as long as one's trust in Allah is firm, it helps greatly.  May Allah grant your wonderful dad the best place in Jannah, InshAllah, ameen.

 salamem

Yes sis, I learnt of it a couple of days prior to Aug. 10th.  By the grace of Allah, we were able to offer some extra nafals.  Thanks so much for this thoughtful message.

May Almighty Allah grant your most beloved father the highest place in Jannah with the best of people.  I also wish the best for you in both the worlds.  Ameen.

Thanks again dear sis.  May Allah keep you strong.
