November 01, 2023, 03:38:26 pm Zainab_M: Keep praying, praying a lot for Gaza. It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

October 20, 2023, 04:24:44 pm Zainab_M: Right sister Heba.  Gaza hospital bombing has the fingerprints of Israel all over it.  For Israel this is no big crime.  They have done this and much worse many times in the past and intend to do the same and worse many more times in near future.
October 20, 2023, 04:20:20 pm Heba E. Husseyn: Catching Zionist lies isn't hard. Soon after Gaza hospital bombing killing and maiming hundreds, Israel was quick to accuse Islamic Jihad of a misfired rocket.  That didn't sound plausible because IJ does not have such sophisticated bombing devices.  Zionist lie was fully exposed when anglican archbishop of Jerusalem,Hosam Naoum,  said today that 3 or 4 days prior to boming Israel had warned Gaza hospital to evacuate. Yet CIA claims in its flawed analysis that the rocket did not come from Israel.  But conveniently does not explain how Israel could have known 4 days earlier that a "misfired" rocket from IJ was coming.  Yet on the basis of this flawed & bias analysis of CIA, Biden is comforting Israel he believes Israel didn't do that war crimes bombing.

Prince
and the

peasant girl

Long ago there lived a young, rich and handsome prince who was greatly loved by his parents and friends.  He was the most eligible bachelor in the country. His parents, the king and queen, wanted him to get married.  But the prince was so choosey and fussy that he rejected every beautiful aristocratic lady he was introduced to.

One day he was travelling in his luxury horse carriage through the countryside.  By the side of a rippling stream, he saw a young peasant girl filling a pitcher with water.  The girl was very charming but her extreme poverty ravaged her appearance and she looked rough and neglected.  The prince told the coachman to stop.  He stepped out and walked up to the girl.  It was love at first sight.  He proposed marriage to her right away and she shyly accepted it.

Together, they sat in the carriage and left for the prince's palace.  Everyone there was happy that the prince finally found his soulmate.  After a few days they were married. It was a glittering event.

A few months later, the wife began loosing weight and looking unhealthy.  The prince felt worried.  He called the best doctors to the palace.  None could diagnose her problem and she kept losing weight.

Then, one day, an old wise man came up with a suggestion.  He told the prince that for the next six months, he should not eat his meals with his wife.  Instead during meal times, he should lock her in a separate room and allow her to eat alone with no one around.  The prince was distressed at this suggestion but since all other measures had failed, he decided to go ahead with it.

True enough, after eating alone for a few months, she began gaining her lost weight and looking healthier.  The prince was perplexed.  He didn't know what to make of it.  So, one day he decided to peep quietly into the room while his wife ate her meal. He saw her eating happily and untidily, putting aside the fork and spoon and eating with her fingers like any village girl, glad to be rid of all the cumbersome table etiquette she was taught by the palace staff which she had to observe at the palace dining hall.  She was truly at ease with herself!

Moral of the story:  You may not be comfortable outside your own circle.  For some people it might be hard to separate themselves from their roots.

😃 .. very cute story.  I heard it before from a family friend.  The 'princess' regained her lost health after she was allowed to eat her own way, using her fingers and licking the plate, something she dare not do in the palace dining hall ..

I like this one.  Usually they say that one gets over-fed with love and thus puts on weight.  But this one apparently needed to put on weight by pushing aside some of that love ..  I quite understand her problem.  Eating is one of the greatest simple pleasures of life.  If one had to follow the relentless etiquette of royal dinner tables day in and day out, just the thought of it can make one lose all their appetite.  'Cinderella' would have a lot to share with this village girl 😑

Great moral story brother.

Thanks for shairing.

I think there is a balance where etiquette meets practicality. "Too much" etiquette is only for show and hampers natural way of doing things. "Too little" ettiquete means you have got food all over the place!

Generally speaking, the right etiquette in front of people is the one which feels natural also when you are by yourself.

My daughter who is now in grade 2 loved this story.  She's asking if this is about Cinderella  😊  I said this is another story.  It's a fiction like Cinderella, but unlike Cinderella, this one has a moral lesson we all need to remember as it reflects the truth about human nature ..... and she absolutely loved all images to pieces ! 😊

And if it was the palace of British "royals" and the era of British media, they would have all ganged up and slaughtered this poor girl ......
