Title: Hours of a day for a Muslim Post by: Sumera Khan on February 23, 2023, 05:07:59 pm I heard in lectures of our Muslim scholars that in the lunar calendar each new day is from maghreb to maghreb. Any comments.
Title: Re: Hours of a day for a Muslim Post by: Heba E. Husseyn on February 23, 2023, 05:14:35 pm There is no evidence in the Noble Quran indicating a new day starts from Maghrib in the lunar calendar. The moon indicates the start of a month and its stages, not a single stretch of a day. The day is calculated by the stages of the sun. To know the complete details, please look up our post When does a new day start as per the Quran.
