Title: Hours of a day for a Muslim
Post by: Sumera Khan on February 23, 2023, 05:07:59 pm
I heard in lectures of our Muslim scholars that in the lunar calendar each new day is from maghreb to maghreb.  Any comments.

There is no evidence in the Noble Quran indicating a new day starts from Maghrib in the lunar calendar.  The moon indicates the start of a month and its stages, not a single stretch of a day.  The day is calculated by the stages of the sun.   To know the complete details, please look up our post When does a new day start as per the Quran.
