(43:5 Surah Azkhruf).  أَفَنَضْرِبُ عَنْكُمُ الذِّكْرَ صَفْحًا أَنْ كُنْتُمْ قَوْمًا مُسْرِفِينَ


"Then should We take away from you the Reminder, disregarding (you), because you are a people transgressing?" (43:5 Az-Zukhruf).


Referring to pre-Islamic Arabia - a nation doused in ignorance for centuries - suddenly Allah looks at it with favor, the favor of His guidance with the Noble Quran. He raises in it an illustrious guide (the messenger) and sends down His own Word to take them out of the darkness into light so that this nation is aroused from slumber, gives up the superstitions of ignorance and becomes aware of the Truth and focused the right way of life.  But the ignorant nation with their tribal chiefs turned hostile to the guide and the Message he brought from The Almighty. At this Allah says should He stop reforming a nation because they prefer ignorance to light?

Within this ignorant nation there were few individuals who were worthy of the guidance of Allah, who loved and accepted the Message of Monotheism and held the Divine Message close to their hearts.  This led to the existence of a new Empire, the Empire of Islam (surrender to Allah alone).  

Unfortunately at present, nearly the entire world has regressed returning to the same point of ignorance.


May Allah Almighty save us from the ignorant ones and keep us on the path of guidance, ameen ya Rabb.

Ameen ya Allah.   

May we be among those few who hold fast to guidance.  Otherwise we lose our souls here and in the permanent world which would be the ultimate loss.
