I am struggling to find a really nice Islamic gift. Can anyone suggest something nice I can give to my best friend? He has plenty of books and CDs and DVDs. What I really like was the iPalm Digital Quran , but that is a bit out of my budget. Maybe we could put together a top 10 list of the best Islamic gifts available.

Walaikum Salaam and Ramadan Kareem, brother Ahmad Ali.  Since this is your first post, please put an introduction of yourself in the 'Introduction' board and how you found our site.

There are plenty of wonderful Islamic gifts you can get for family and friends, both online and offline.  I would prefer the offline ones as you get a chance to personally see these gifts before giving them to others.  If you have an Islamic gift or souvenir store in your area, that would be the best.  Some nice items suitable for gifts would be:

- Miniature copy of the Glorious Quraan which one can carry with oneself everywhere
- Adhan clock
- Tasbih
- A nice prayer mat
- Coffee mugs with signs of 'Allah' and 'I  hart Allah'
- Wooden or velvet wall hangings with Quraanic Ayaats and Kalmaas
- Nice quality khimars and prayer caps

And I'm sure there'll be many more items in Islamic gift shops.

Tapestries on velvet and other materials of the Kaa'ba used as wall hangings also make great Islamic gifts ..
