Reflections on the Noble Quran

We keep hearing from non-Muslims all sorts of arguments that limit the Strength and Sovereignty of Allah Almighty.  Also, rigid Hadith following Muslims portray HIS Final Message as dependent on the Hadith and modern fatwas claiming the Quran cannot be understood without Hadith.  We are also often made to feel that obeying the jurists/scholars with blind trust and obtaining diplomas from costly religious universities are necessary for acquiring guidance.  In the process the quality of a person's soul and intent are totally ignored.  That's how much the emphasis is on the facade of every individual.

However, in the Noble Quran, Allah Almighty has clearly mentioned that whoever keeps their duty to Allah, Allah will Himself grant them wisdom and the ability to distinguish between right and wrong along with His forgiveness.  Thus, Allah has made it ample clear that guidance can only be sought if we believe in Him and obey His commandments with a sincere heart, and thus we become the recipients of Allah's bounty by approaching Him directly, NOT through the words or lectures of other human beings.

"O you who believe! If you keep your duty to Allah, He will give you discrimination (between right and wrong) and will rid you of your evil thoughts and deeds, and will forgive you. Allah is of Infinite bounty."  (8:29)  Al-Anfal

The duties prescribed by Allah for humanity are mentioned only in the Quran.  These are the only authentic duties.  Thus, a person can be truly dutiful toward Allah only if they follow the Quran.

Also NOT to forget, the contents of the Quran are the highest Criterion.  This means that if someone comes up with some 'duty' claiming it to be necessary for obeying Allah, the truth of it can only be analyzed by comparing its conformity with Quranic contents and values.  If it clearly conforms, it can be accepted as a Quranic dictate or value, only because of its compatibility with the Quran.  But if that claimed 'duty' contradicts any Quranic commandment or value, then it's not a duty prescribed by Allah and a believer is not obligated to follow it as part of Faith.  The source of such duties is neither the Noble Quran nor the Final Messenger (pbuh).

It's the rejecters who are denied guidance

Ameen ya Allah.   Last night, the Night of Qadr, Alhumdulilah,  this was one of my special prayers, to grant the vision to many of our brethren so that they view the Noble Quran as a Standalone Book which is complete and is NOT dependent for its explanation on any human writing.
