BismEm

This means earthly relations will not be able to save people from retribution, if they deserve it in the Sight of Allah.

Allah has explicitly asserted this point in Verse 3 of Surah Al-Mumtahanah.  The verse is simple, direct and  self explanatory.

"Your ties of kindred and your children will avail you naught upon the Day of Resurrection. He will part you. Allah is Seer of what ye do."  60:3

This is just so, so, so true.    The temporary nature of not only this world but also of all human relationships is so darn temporary within this dunya.   And those relationships get permanent only if we're able to acquire maghfirah on that DAY.

Please continue to grant us guidance and make us work hard in this dunya, ya Allah.  Ameen.
