Here's another tragedy from the NYE celebrations in Rome, Italy, Dec.31-Jan.1 2020-2021.

Hundreds of birds were found dead in Rome, Italy, after new year fireworks. Some sources surmise they may have died of fright from the loud sounds and flashy lights of fireworks. After all, birds are very prone to heart attacks in situations they perceive fearful, just as humans are. During 2020/2021 the fireworks in Rome were unusually loud and widespread. But there can be another reason too, which is still more likely. Fireworks consist of a tube with a mix of explosive chemicals. Colors, sounds and noise come from an amalgam of chemicals. Manufacturers may change the combination of chemicals for "better" display.  It's likely they used more harmful chemicals this time.

Most of the birds were the beautiful starlings scattered lifeless all over the ground near Rome's major train station. There's a leafy neighborhood in this area well known for the nesting place of many birds.

How tragic!   Will humans ever learn to be selfless, preferring humanity above their destructive desires? Another reason to say shame on NYE celebrations.

Indeed tragic ... heart-wrenching.

Probably because Italy had one of the highest infection rate and death toll from Covid19 in 2020 (and may continue through 2021), so the people thought of making up for it with a celebration wilder/louder than usual.  That's what happens to the minds of humans that are devoid of Faith, devoid of the thought of Allah.   To acquire peace, they go the wrong direction .. to correct a wrong they take a step that's still more destructive.
