The Flood in Prophet Noah's era

hmmm, that's a very common attitude with them.  When the Quran is explicit about something, they make it obscure to make it tally with the bibles just the way they try to make the Quran tally with the Hadith.  Very irritating attitude.

With so much of exaggeration in the altered Bibles, the bible writers have painted a picture of the flood that wiped off Noah's community as an unique flood like no other and that's one of the reasons they think it must have left some signs until today.  Actually as described in the Quran it was intense torrential rain causing flooding.  Very likely there were strong gusty winds as is common in such weather.  It caused many fatalities of all those who didn't board the Ark.  It was apparently a similarly intense hurricane or tornado as occasionally seen nowadays  as well in various countries.  E.g. Think of Hurricane Katrina that caused so many deaths and immense destruction.  But after 5,000 years would any signs of it still be available?   Sounds quite absurd.

Moreover, the differences between the Quranic narration of Noah's flood and the altered biblical narrations are a lot.

From the Quran we know that Prophet Noah's son was a disbeliever and was drowned, Verses 11:42-43, quote: "And it sailed with them amid waves like mountains, and Noah cried unto his son - and he was standing aloof - O my son! Come ride with us, and be not with the disbelievers. He said: I shall betake me to some mountain that will save me from the water. (Noah) said: This day there is none that saveth from the commandment of Allah save him on whom He hath had mercy. And the wave came in between them, so he was among the drowned."

From Verse 66:10 we also know that Noah's wife was unrighteous and therefore it can correctly be presumed that she too perished during the flood. 

"Allah citeth an example for those who disbelieve: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot, who were under two of Our righteous slaves yet betrayed them so that they (the husbands) availed them naught against Allah and it was said (unto them): Enter the Fire along with those who enter."  66:10.

Compared to this, the altered Bible, always giving wrong information, claims Noah's family was saved.  Quote: "…Noah, and Noah’s sons …and Noah’s wife and the three wives of his sons with them, entered the ark." Genesis 7:13  Nonsense.
