August 01, 2022, 08:48:12 pm Ruhi_Rose: As-Salam Alaykum MV guests. Just a reminder how time flies. We're already in the Islamic new year of 1444 month of Muharram, a very tragic time of our history. May The Almighty grant Hussein bin Ali and his comrades the best spot in Paradise for their unflinching courage to uphold the values of the Final Message, The Noble Quran.  Please read our post Ashura - who was Hussein? That was Sister Heba's family  Smiley  But then they decided not to because when she and her husband are at work and the kids at school plus tuition, there is no one home for long hours every day.  So they rightly thought that wouldn't be fair for the poor doggy .... though all their kids really love pets and I'm sure they would take great care.  The problem is doggies need people around most of the time otherwise they get too depressed.

That is very, very correct.  Cats don't mind staying alone some hours even if it's every day.  But with doggies it's quite a different story.  Unlike cats dogs also need to be taken out at least twice a day for potty.

Actually Sister Heba mentioned that that wasn't a problem.  The doggy could be taken out for poop in the morning before they left for work and then one of the kids could take it out after returning home that's between 4 and 5 afternoon as the older kids go for tuition from school.  Sometimes they may even arrive a bit later.  Yet she said that could be managed.  The main issue was the poor doggy staying alone all of that time day after day.

Smiley  Nah sis, not we.  I was mentioning about my sister.  They got a really cute kitty last year.  They are in the apartment unit opposite ours in the same hallway so they often bring the kitty here and it almost feels like we have a cat too  Cheesy
