Disagree with fart post

So you say fart doesn't spoil wudu because it is abstract.  Ok abstract.  But if it smells bad, that abstract thing still causes pollution.  You never thought of that.

No yar, it doesn't!  Don't be stupid !!  How can anything that's abstract or intangible cause pollution to the body?  In this industrialized era the atmosphere itself contains certain gases that don't smell the best.  Smelly or not smelly, fart doesn't stick to the body like solid or liquid dirt.  It doesn't even cause body odor like sweat does in some people.  It gets diffused in the atmosphere immediately.  Have you heard or seen anyone farting and then their entire body smelling of fart until they go and take a shower?  Sounds ridiculous doesn't it?  Fart is a natural gaseous phenomenon caused by food, enzymes in the intestinal tract and the air we breathe in.  The type of smell depends mainly on the type of food you eat. That's all.  It causes NO bodily pollution whatsoever. We're talking about fart, not poison gas.  If you're walking to the masjid to offer a prayer, you might pass by a sewerage that could smell far worse than fart and for a few minutes that smell could engulf you as a part of the atmosphere. But will that invalidate your wudu unless you slip and fall on the crap turning abstract smell into tangible filth?  That would invalidate your wudu for sure, but not the whiff of passing smell.  Use your common sense.

Btw, one more thing about farting that's not true.  There's a myth swirling around the internet that farting helps lose weight, that with each fart you lose 67 calories and if you fart 52 times a day, you can lose one pound of fat.  Bullshit.  I wouldn't be surprised if this came from the pen of one of Mr. Bukhari's descendants.

Not uncommon that most folks love tooting but hate to exercise.  So someone played this prank on the internet to cheer up weight watchers looking for a shortcut to weight loss.  Apparently the prank became a serious rumor and like Bukhari, google fell for it too.

67 calories gone with one 'fragrant' rear-side explosion?!  Then who would need to fart 52 times?  Average human supposedly farts a dozen times a day.  That would make them lose over 650 calories.  They could eat just about any fatty diet and get away with it.
