As-Salam Alaykum.  Excellent piece.  Many thanks brother.  And presently, it's not only the mushrik, but unfortunately there's no dearth of so-called Muslim households where the Noble Quran is placed in a secluded shelf inside a velvet case, covered with dust.  A breathtaking prophecy from The Almighty comes about such human attitude in the 30th Verse of Surah Al-Furqan where Allah states a future quote from His final Messenger "And the messenger says: O my Rab! Indeed my own folk make this Quran of no account."     

While they follow the incongruous narrations of the man-written hadith, they claim they're following "Quran and Sunnah" defying the Noble Quran as a Standalone Book as if it cannot be understood without sub-standard contents of the hadith.   Thus, within the unparalleled beauty of Quranic contents, Allah says in the 67th Verse of Surah Az-Zumar  "And they esteem not Allah as He hath the right to be esteemed, while the earth entirely will be (within) His grip on the Day of Resurrection,..."    Many of our folks performing lip service to the Final & Original Message of Allah (which is also a complete code of life and the sole Furqan) either never speak of the Quran in the course of their lives or simply see it as an insignificant ritual.  They read it with tunes and rhythms (as if it's a Book of songs) without understanding nor reflecting and then carry on with their lives in accordance with their own discrepant rules.  Yet they're convinced that such ritualism is enough to claim they follow the Quran.   I continue coming across folks like these again and again that leaves me so despondent.  Such ignorance isn't a matter to be taken lightly.  It's a very, very serious problem that tarnishes one's iman, the only valuable possession we will carry with us to the next world during our Final Journey.  Everything else will be left behind.   

For millenniums humankind has inherently been more attracted to the instructions and advise of other humans rather than the Divine Power.  For that reason, they altered all previous Divine Scriptures.  The Only One still intact and Original remains to be the Noble Quran, protected by Allah Himself in The Guarded Tablet (Lawh-i-Mahfuz).  Hence, the praise and commendation of preserving the Quran belongs to Allah alone, not to the people.  He tested His slaves to preserve His previous Messages, but they failed the test, disobeyed Him and changed His Words.   But this time, His Final Message stays directly in His care.    Praise be to You, ya Rab.
