Alcohol in the West destroying more women than men

Recent statistical reports suggest consumption of alcohol among women in western countries is as much or more than men.  They view alcohol as source to calm down stress.  In reality it's just the opposite.  Alcohol increases stress and anxiety with a chain of other negative consequences.  As a result, women are dying of alcohol related illnesses in larger numbers than men.  Researchers and health experts are deeply concerned. 

Promotion of the feminist ideology is also thought to be one of the reasons responsible for this very negative development that encourages women to consume booze in equal amounts as men as a show of gender equality.  Consumption of alcohol is detrimental for all, men as well as women. But promoters of feminism either ignore or are too ignorant to realize that alcohol can be still worse for women.  Women have a different biological metabolism than men.  Water level within the female system is different.  Enzymes metabolize alcohol differently in women compared to men, indicating that alcohol is even more harmful for women. 

In plain terms, violating the orders of The Almighty by indulging in an act He forbids can only hurt humans.  Pushing that violation still further by ignoring the facts of nature as ordained by Him can only be disastrous.

"O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful."  (5:90)  Al-Maidah.

Allah Almighty always speaks the truth.   His guidance is never wrong.  So follow HIM if you want to live a respectful life in this world and make good provision for your soul in the permanent world.

I too read about this recently.  Alcohol as well as smoking are enemies of the human body.  Cannabis causes double damage;  it releases smoke that can cause terminal damage to the lungs like regular smoking plus it's also an intoxicant.  Not to mention the behavioral disorders than lead to break-up of family life; can anything more more pathetic?
