This is more than just 'paranormal.'   It's a reflection of the confirmation of a situation in the Noble Quran.

Last week I attended a virtual Zoom get-together with a circle of old, close friends after a long, long time.  I suppose if it wasn't because of the pandemic, the idea of this get-together wouldn't have occurred to us in our busy lives.  Alhumdulilah, some good always comes out of every hardship.

One of the sister-friends shared a true and thought provoking story.  It happened approximately a decade ago.  Her older sister, who has recently retired, was a doctor for many years in a Western secular country.  One of the patients, a middle-aged female, admitted in the hospital she worked, was terminally ill.   Her illness was advanced and she knew her days were numbered.  She spent the last four days of her life in the intensive care unit, not in coma but in a drowsy state.   She would awaken from time to time, roll her eyes, sometimes speak a few words and then drift back to drowsiness.

On one of those days in the ICU, that doctor (my friend's sister) and two of her colleagues were standing next to this female patient's bed.  The patient suddenly lifted up her head from the pillow and appeared very agitated.  That was a bit surprising considering her very frail condition.  Yet, she began to speak and wasn't incoherent.  She said quite loudly that there was some scary looking person "hovering" around her and that she felt very, very frightened.  She persistently repeated that in slightly different words for the next few minutes, shaking her head and moving her hands as much as she could in an enfeebled state.  The doctors who were present rushed to her bedside.  They knew she was going.  Within approximately the next 15 minutes she was pronounced dead.

As we know the Noble Quran has made it very clear that during the time of death Malik-ul-Mawt will sternly tell the disbeliever to hand over their soul and it will be a very distressing time for them, to say the least!  On that day every disbeliever will be overwhelmed with fear and helplessness.  They will finally realize that the time for the Final Journey has arrived and there's no escape.  For details refer to MV post-thread HERE.

My friend's sister was the only Muslim there, and she's a practicing Muslim, Alhumdulilah.   She at once guessed what was happening .. that the patient was in her final stages and she was being told to deliver up her soul.  While only Allah knows best, it seemed quite obvious that that person didn't have a good report in her book of accounts.   Thus her extreme distress and fear, horrifying enough to wake her up from her semi-unconscious condition into a bundle of nerves minutes prior to her death.

The other non-Muslim doctors and nurses present there presumed she was "hallucinating in a delirious condition" probably because of "high temperature."  However, my friend's sister said she didn't have 'high temperature.'  Though her temperature was above normal at the time, it wasn't the kind of burning high temperature that sometimes makes people delirious.  It was just a bit above normal and her speech was coherent.  In fact she had a mild temperature for the past fortnight prior to her death but was always quite calm and never reacted the way she did during the last few minutes of her life.

May Allah The Almighty protect and guide those who make themselves worthy of His guidance.  Ameen ya Rab.   Those without His guidance are truly lost.

Alhumdulilah.  Indeed deeply thought provoking.   I read this with interest and concentration.  I think such occurrences are clear wake-up calls for skeptic minds.   It is more than just sad that non-Muslims and secularists have gone so far on to their path of ignoring Allah Almighty that even when they see a sign or warning from The Almighty, they never bother to heed.

Thank you Sister Ruhi for sharing your friend's sister's experience.    Insh'Allah, I too must share this with my family and friends.

Mash'Allah, extremely stimulating story.  Thank you for sharing Sister Ruhi.

Unexpectedly, Allah Almighty may decide to indirectly show us the signs of the unseen.  Only the wise person with an insight moving in the right direction will grasp it.  The laggards will slip and overlook.

May The Almighty protect us from all types of misguidance.  Ameen ya Allah.

This is a very interesting incident to share.   It's just so sad that the disbelief of disbelievers never stops to ponder over the truth.  Big thanks Sis Ruhi.
