It's quite a lengthy history, but in a nutshell there are no significant grounds, just the usual reason because they had a fallout with some leaders with differing priorities.
 




And .. are the Ibadis hadithis or Quran alone Muslims?

From what I know, they are hadithists too    🤔
It's said that they have their own small collection of hadith, mostly narrated by Jabir bin Said to some of his students.  However, currently most Ibadi hadiths are found in the standard Sunni collections, approved by present-day Ibadis.
