Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents. It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

Assalamualaikum MV team, I just wanted to add that even in my non English translation of the Quran, the same mistake is present, misplacing Allah as the "Rabb" refered by Yusuf pbuh, with his human master i.e. the Egyptian aristocrat who is sheltering Yusuf pbuh.

Thank you so much for bringing this up, as I was blissfully ignorant of such a big error and have quietly accepted the mistranslated verse as fact. I rationalized Yusuf pbuh's statement as falling into the temptation of the master's wife means betraying the trust of his kind master. Which is why Yusuf said my master has been good to me, thus acknowledging the adultery being asked of him as the highest form of human treachery.

Obviously this is the wrong interpretation, as Yusuf pbuh correctly acknowledges that Allah is the One Who has been kind to him, not his human master. The master also failed to make a fair judgement and sided with his wife, despite knowing her error and threw Yusuf pbuh in the prison despite his innocence. Plus, even if the master was never kind to him, adultery would still be treacherous and oppressive towards him. Is this correct?
