Markets most hated by Allah? Another forgery by Abu Huraira

Abu Huraira has forged another hadith and as usual had the audacity to use the name of the beloved Prophet (pbuh).

Abu Hurairah narrated: the Prophet (ﷺ ) said, "The dearest parts on the face of the earth near Allah are its mosques, and the most hated parts near Allah are its markets."  (Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 671).


Of course, mosques constructed with true love for Allah are wonderful places symbolic of worshipping HIM alone.  Abu Huraira doesn't have to remind us of that.

But where in the Noble Quran does Allah Almighty say, or even hint, that marketplaces or sooqs are the most hated places by Him ?

People go to the markets to shop for food, clothes, medicines and other essentials.   Huraira, the madman's purposeless lies are much too infuriating !!   I don't know how this man could be at ease with his corrupted conscience.

I think this is one of those ahadith in which Huraira himself got double-crossed.   It seems this one has been forged in Huraira's name in modern times.  It's supposed to be a rebuke for modern malls and plazas so that probably people will spend less time shopping ....  😆

Yeah, that double-cross thing is also possible.   Members of Abu Huraira fan club are quite capable of that as well.   But the mind boggling issue is what's so objectionable about spending time shopping, if someone needs to or wants to, to the extent that it becomes necessary to pen a glaringly forged hadith to that effect ?

As we know, the basic goal of the entire hadith literature is to spread annoyance, and for that reason they forge the name of the Prophet (pbuh) so that the naive ones won't express their annoyance.
