Welcome to Muslema Purmul's nonsensical talk.  I'm glad Sister Zainab left a perfect comment there.  Purmul, an Afghan woman, calls herself "Muslema" but doesn't talk like one.  She says Imam Ghazali said that "sins of the eyes" does not include looking at the opposite gender in the 'wrong way.'  But it is a sin of the eye to look at someone in a manner thinking them to be lower or worse than yourself.  In comparison, according to her (as per Imam Ghazali) opposite genders gaping at each other is okay cause you don't know what they have in their hearts. 

Wallahi!  I don't know where these people have lost their conscience.  Even after a matter is categorically stated and confirmed in the Quran, yet they argue to the contrary.

Mad woman, honestly.  She's apparently trying to get popular with the younger crowd and thus speaking this type of hogwash.   

Never even heard of her before.  Seems that nowadays any tinker, tart or toff can become a "scholar" and put up a verbal presentation full of lies.  It also proves how little people know of the Quran these days that they cannot even perceive how blatantly her talk is violating the contents of the Noble Quran.

I also wonder if Imam Ghazali said this.  He was an educated person, not like the Hadith narrators.

Absolutely, it's very doubtful that he ever said that.  No more can one accept anything that's uttered by these so-called academics.  Falsification has become an inseparable part of their approach.  If they can contradict and ignore the Quran as much as this, it would be no big deal for them to lie about other human beings nor to construct forged statements.

Purmul the buffoon!  I've never heard of her either except that it's easy to gauge she has little or no respect nor fear of Allah Almighty in her own heart. 

Someone should ask her how would she feel if her husband gaped at other women "in a wrong way"?
