Hadith falsification claims Prophet (pbuh) knew exact day of Laila-tul-Qadr

We are now in the middle of the blessed month of Ramadan, Alhumdulilah, and while people get ready to observe the Night of Laila-tul-Qadr, this is when tons of false and forged stories are circulated by staunch Hadithists. 

According to one false Hadith, Allah informed the Prophet of the exact night of Laila tul Qadr.  The Prophet then came to share this news with the “sahabas.”  While on his way, he saw two men arguing, seeing which the Prophet forgot which precise night Allah mentioned to him.  So, we now have to search for the Night of Qadr. (Bukhari chapter 32, hadith #240).  This is even more ridiculous than the goat eating the leaf hadith.

Another hadith claims:  “We came out of it in the morning of the twentieth, and Allah's Apostle delivered a sermon on the 20th (of Ramadan) and said, 'I was informed (of the date) of the Night of Qadr (in my dream) but had forgotten it. So, look for it in the odd nights of the last ten nights of the month of Ramadan.”   (Bukhari chapter 33, hadith #252.

As we know, everything Allah Almighty told the Prophet is within the Quranic Revelations.  There is NO mention nor any indication in the Quran that The Almighty told or revealed to the Prophet rules, laws or dates of important events (or anything for that matter) outside the Quran.  From false or forged ahadith like these ensues the other fib of "searching" for the Night of Qadr during the last 10 odd nights of Ramadan.   

If Allah had really told the Prophet something as relevant as the precise Night of Qadr, first of all, would the Prophet ever forget just by watching two guys argue over something?  Secondly, wouldn’t The Almighty make sure that the Prophet does not forget an information as important as this? 

Beware folk!  I seriously advise everyone to stay away from these illogical and foolish forgeries that try to mock our beloved Prophet (pbuh) by trying to make him look like a careless person with a feeble memory.   InshAllah, Allah Almighty will deal with these tale tellers.

Very useful warning Sister Ruhi.  I hope people heed.  Leila tul Qadr is such an important event, and these false stories are really becoming a nuisance.

I don't know how anyone who says they love the Prophet (pbuh) yet accept such stories.
