Some juz titles are taken first lines or words in the Quran Surahs, and some are created by those people who memorized the Quran earlier on to make the recitation of the entire Quran easier.  This is the only purpose of these juz titles, thus the source of these titles do not matter.  But these titles are also established from the time the memorization of the Quran began and they don’t change, have never changed in the past.

None of the juz titles come from the hadith.

The time taken to read one juz (part) of the Quran can vary depending on a person's reading speed, and familiarity with the Arabic language with the level of fluency. On average, it may take around 30 to 60 minutes to read one juz, but as said this can vary from person to person.  

Also, The length of every juz is not the same and can differ depending on the length of verses. Some juz may have fewer verses and can be read quicker, while others may have more verses and require more time to read and comprehend.
