It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

Salam, peace to all.


"And (remember) when your Lord brought forth from the Children of Adam, from their reins, their seed, and made them testify of themselves, (saying): Am I not your Lord ? They said: Yes, verily. We testify. (That was) lest you should say at the Day of Resurrection: Indeed, of this we were unaware;"  7:172 Al Araf


Does this Verse refer to oath from all Prophets or from all mankind.

Only Allah Almighty can confirm this.  We don't have enough information as it's certainly a matter of the Unseen.

Hadith says it refers to all humans;  an oath was taken from all humans during the creation of Adam - that is, The Almighty raised all humans temporarily who were destined to come or be born in this world from day one until the Last Day.  But Allah has not confirmed this specifically as described by the Hadith.  However, reference to all humans could be generally true, though every detail of Hadith is not a confirmation. 

It might also be a reference to all Prophets. The fact that Allah did take an oath from all Prophets is categorically stated in the Noble Quran, Verse 3:81 quote  ....   "When Allah made (His) covenant with the prophets, (He said): Behold that which I have given you of the Scripture and knowledge. And afterward there will come unto you a messenger, confirming that which you possess. You shall believe in him and you shall help him. He said: Do ye agree, and will you take up My burden (which I lay upon you) in this (matter)? They answered: We agree. He said: Then bear ye witness. I will be a witness with you."  3:81 Al-Imran.
