Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents. It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

Salam dear all. This is a wonderfully inspiring song in support of Palestine sung by Egyptian singer Amir Eid and his Cairokee band.

Arabic تلك قضية (Telka Qadeya) translates into English "That is an issue." Often referred to as "anthem of divorce from the western world."

The single was released on Nov.2023 has been a big hit throughout the Arab world. It denounces the selective indignation of Western rhetoric which claims to laud all progressive struggles but disregards the ongoing genocide in Gaza. That title expresses the anger widely shared throughout the Arab world and the Muslim world.

Wa'salam and big thanks for posting this. Truly inspiring Alhumdulilah. The West has now completely lost its point in the Muslim world. And the loud applause from audience proves how little Sisi's government represents his people. This song has made a hit right across the Arab world, Iran, Malaysia and Indonesia.

O yes, we and our kids love it too. My husband said there are rumors Israel has threatened to eliminate the singer.

What I really like about this powerful and inspiring song is that it's not just lamentation, it concludes with a vividly defiant note, to continue the struggle. Die free instead of living surrendered .. reverberating the concept of the martyrdom of beleoved Hussein on the hot sands of Karbala sending the glorious meaage to the world, it's better to die on your feet than live on your knees, a symbol of resistance against injustice. All praise be to Allah The Greatest.

That could be possible considering the way Israel has been indiscriminately killing all sources of talents & inspiration in Gaza like artists, poets, academics, journalists, doctors & surgeons, sctivists, destruction of universities & schools etc.

And yes, that defiance is the best part of the song, throwing the shit back on the face of the West. May Allah The Greatest grant success to His intelligent and perceptive slaves. Ameen ya Rabb.

Resist to exist, and say ‘NO’ to pacifism. Pacifism only suits the scheme of the enemy and provides comfort to the hearts of cowards!

What surprises me is how Amir Eid hasn't yet been arrested by Sisi's henchmen ?

I saw a video of Saudi Arabia between March 20 and 25 last Ramadan 1445 - when Zionist forces were carrying out a gory genocide at Al Shifa Hospital Complex - and a Saudi imam hosted an Iftar dinner prior to which he delivered a brief khutba urging Muslim leaders to support Gaza. And the video showed that he was violently arrested within an hour. Jordan would be much the same. So I don't know how Amir Eid is still safe. Alhumdulilah to that, but it's a bit surprising.

Sisi's puppet-dictatorship is a bit different from those other guys. His own policy is that of a puppet, and of course he is a dictator, in that, he doesn't allow any protests on the streets. But if artists, activists or academics criticise Israel or America without criticising him for being a lackey, he is okay with that.
