Meeting family and friends in Jannah

One more point that needs to be added here ... that similarly, the disbelieving will also meet their family but it will be the opposite story for them, a story full of anguish and they will barely care for each others’ presence. They will also cast blame on one another.  They'll blame their followers, will blame their leaders. The leaders will say, not to blame them but to blame the followers themselves who went astray of their own choice.   There will be plenty of wrangling between the ultimate losers.


“(And it is said unto the angels): Assemble those who did wrong, together with their wives and what they used to worship”   37:22 As Saffat.


“but oh, if you could see, when the wrong-doers are brought up before their Rabb, how they cast the blame one to another; how those who were despised (in the earth) say unto those who were proud: But for you, we should have been believers.
Those who were proud say unto those who were despised: Did we drive you away from the guidance after it had come unto you? Nay, but you were guilty.”
34:31-32  Saba.

O man, this is such an important thing, meeting everyone in Jannah.  Otherwise everything feels so senseless cause this dunya life is so short and temporary.  So, in Jannah, will me and my whole family including cousins all be with us together?  Exhilerating thought, makes my heart race!

Wa'salam.   Only those of the family and extended family who were truly believers in Allah alone and having done some good works will get acceptance from Allah, and only those will enter Jannah.  If you’re among those believers of your family, then InshAllah you can certainly hope to meet others of your family and cousins who have also made it to Jannah.   InshAllah.  Yes I know it's a very, very important aspect.  For the sensible ones it will be the ultimate triumph, for the foolish ones the ultimate loss.

What if you don’t want to see some members of your family or friends but they want to be with you? Any insight on how that would work?

As believers, if you and your family and friends make it to Jannah, regardless of your earthly relations, no one will nurture any animosity towards each other over there.  All of you will only experience happiness that you were fortunate to make it to Jannah with a deep feeling of gratitude toward Allah.  The people of Jannah have no negative feelings whatsoever.  “And We remove whatever rancour may be in their hearts.”  7:43  Al Araf.
