Which lady was first to embrace Islam?

Salam to you.   At social media I read a Quran quiz question asking who was the first female to accept Islam - Maryam, Hasiya or Khadija ?

Everyone responded Khadija.  Maryam (mother of Prophet Essa) and Hasiya (wife of pharoah) also accepted the Monotheistic faith or Islam, right?   Allah has confirmed both of them as believers in the Quran.   Therefore, shouldn't the answer be all three of them ?

Yeah, you have a valid point.  However there are differences in their circumstances.  When Khadija became Muslim, no other women in the family nor society were Muslims.  Thus she becomes the first female of her time to embrace thw Monotheistic Faith. 

Maryam came from the family of Zakarya who was a pious beleiver and so was his family (Re V.19:35-37 of Surah Maryam).  Thus Maryam was definitely a Monotheistic believer but perhaps not the first woman of her time like Khadija. 

Hasiya was also a Monotheistic believer who did not agree with her husband, the pharaoh.  But at the time she can be confirmed as a Monotheistic believer, there may have been other followers of Prophet Musa (pbuh) who had already accepted his Message from Allah.   Thus certainly a believer in One Allah, she was likely not the first female of her time.

Right Sister Heba.  Of her time, Khadija was the first.  But not first of all times as Maryam and pharaoh's wife who were also believers in One Allah, lived in eras much before Khadija.
