It's worse than a prison .. it's a concentration camp.  Children as young as 10 or 11 are having to care for their younger siblings ages 2, 3 and 4 becoz many have lost both parents.  It's a very, very, very tearful situation there.

Who were those who spent and fought afterwards, was it the people who fought after Badr?

No, not Battle of Badr.  Reference is to the conquest of Makkah .. to those Muslims who fought in battles after the conquest of Makkah cannot be the same in rank in Allah’s Sight as those who fought in the various battles (Ghazwas) before the conquest of Makkah.   That’s always the style of the Noble Quran to refer to future events as already happened, because Allah is All-Knower and for Him there is no such thing as past or future.
