وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ  (wal ad daleen)   This is is original word of the last line of Surah Fatiha.

But sheikhs pronounce it "walaad duaaaaleeeen"  They drag it for 5 seconds or so.  I couldn't find any references to this style in the Qur'an.  Do you know if Qur'an says to pronounce it like that?  Or does it com from traditionalist sources?

No, there are absolutely no references to this practice in the Noble Quran.  It comes from 'traditions' of a Tirmidhi hadith.  There could be other ahadith as well emphasizing this practice as different hadiths often copy each other.  The precise hadith responsible for this unnecessary practice distorting the last line of Surah Fatiha is HERE.  Please click and read.

walad daleen” means in translation ..  “and not (of) those who go astray.”   Original Arabic text of the Quran says “daleen” not ‘dualeen.'   Apparently, “daleen” comes from the word “dalal” which means ‘astray’ as also meant by the last word of Verse 1:7 of Surah Fatiha.  There is certainly NO indication of pronunciating it as "duaaleeeen" anywhere in the Quran.   This is entirely a hadith practice.
